Yes, the FBI was also known to takeover cp servers to gather Intel and addresses from the users. I remember reading about tor sites(not necessarily cp) that people figured the government had taken over because the servers got twice as reliable and faster.
Yeah, there was a big thing about this. Pedos were whining the FBI kept the servers running so it counted as distributing child porn, but I believe judges told them to fuck off. So they can't set up servers with the cp database (investigation use only) but they're allowed to take them over and log the activity. And I honestly don't care about the constitutionality of it because fuck pedos. The FBI is also allowed to go:
"12 yo old! CLICK THE LINK" And it basically leads to a dead end, except a server which logs all of your information and then they arrest you. Some argued it was entrapment, but no one is forcing you to click that link. People were worried that 'trolls' would disguise the link as something else and trick people to click on it, but that is far fetched.

I think there needs to be some attempt at weeding out the pedophiles hiding in positions of power in (primarily) liberal organizations. I dont know how it could be done, and I doubt it could. But it is like a rasp on on my soul shaving off bits of humanity to think of how deep this problem goes and how determined and organized pedophiles are. Is there nothing that can be done?
Yeah, its pretty awful. I chose pedophiles because I wanted to understand the monsters. In the end, there's no logic to it. Its an irrational compulsion and the only cure is a bullet. Its why 'HURR SECRET ASSHOLE DEFENDS LOLI'. Yeah, well, read what the fuck is in those videos and tell me how drawings can compare with that visceral fucking horror. And the sad part is? This is not uncommon, videos of toddlers being abused. It sickens me to the core.
Generally, pedos in positions of power need to massively fuck up, like this guy did. They insulate each other. These sort of groups online trade CP like fucking baseball cards. They're extremely compulsive. You'll have this guy living in an absolute hoarder shithole, but the organization of his CP folders will be immaculate. That's how it is and how extremely pathological it is. Which is why I just think they should be shot or kept in an institution for the rest of their lives. There's no treatment and there's no way you can trust them, ever.
I mean, human trafficking is fucking huge. Sex tourism. The lengths they'll go through is quite insane. I mean, they're everywhere. Though the 'pedophiles in power' thing has been huge for a long time so its hard to take seriously. You get nutjubs saying shit like that all the time. So its hard to tell what is true and what isn't. Usually the people in power are part of just regular CP groups. They've caught cops, doctors and lawyers and all sorts of professionals in these rings.
I genuinely can't get in the mind of the law enforcement who have to watch the videos for the trial. Do they get counseling?
Not only do they get counseling, but I believe it is (at least FBI) policy that you don't work in these units for extended periods of time. You typically get rotated off of them, because its just too much to bear.
Like, I'll never forget this one story of this missing person's case I was studying when I was in forensic psych. In San Fran, these two meth addicts became convinced that their kids had the devil in them. They force fed the kids bleach milkshakes to keep them clean. They had two daughters. One of the daughters disappears, reported by the grandmother. The cops go over and ask the FBI for help. The other daughter and the parents claim the girl moved overseas with her father and they couldn't get in contact with him. Strangely, the little girl that is missing is cut out of every picture. Her room is gone, no toys or any evidence of her having lived there.
Two years later the other daughter recants and admits the younger sister died from ingesting the bleach and the parents dismembered her. The FBI tears that fucking place apart. These meth addicts even fed their dogs bleach (they all died). The FBI thought they might have fed their daughter to the dogs so they exhumed every single one of them and analyzed them. Nothing. They find no blood, no trace evidence. Corpse dogs turn up nothing. Then they interview the neighbors who remember a strange smell and seeing smoke coming out of their chimney. In the middle of July. In California. They go back in and investigate the fireplace. Nothing. Like just imagine dealing with that case and cases like it day in, day out. You'd go fucking insane.
These two pieces of human filth made this girl not exist. As the old adage goes, its not what you know, its what you can prove. This is what the world is like. It is an awful, terrible place filled with monsters.
