I guess he'd love to be celebrated by a countless legion of mindless Dobdrone Fans. However, I guess going to cons -especially now- would have 2 major issues:
1) there would be trolls
2) his sales would never cover his expenses

Seriously, can you see Dobson making enough money off merchandise and his horrible books to warrant partaking in a con?

I actually want to see his Patreon get higher, just to see if he goes through with any of his milestone promises. We haven't seen any wallpapers yet and I don't imagine that "goody bag" thing will work out. ( He said a random person would win it, I think he's going to weed out any suspected trolls first)

Here's what I'm really wondering: on DA if you sent in enough reports that came back as invalid or annoying, you could get banned from the help desk/ reporting feature. If he keeps sending reports like this into Patreon, I wonder if a mod would finally decide he wasn't worth the effort.
 
Dobson seems to be trying to employ some sort of "too pathetic to be worth it" position, then says something so obnoxious that people remember why they fuck with him to begin with. Like that Simpsons episode when Homer is telling Bart how to fight: "First, you gotta shriek like a woman and keep sobbing til he turns away in disgust. That's when it's time to kick some back."

You know, I'm inclined to agree with Null's theory that the water-spraying incident came to symbolize in Dobson's mind his failure to make it as an artist. Godbear knows if he's even aware of this - it may be subconscious - but it's certainly possible. Or maybe it's all just for asspats.

Holy fuck, I apologize for digging a few days back in the thread, but these three tweets are hilarious. I love when he gets up on the soapbox himself rather than passively retweeting other people.

The strawmanning with that second one is legendary. First of all, lmao @ having characters in games to "relate" to being a "right and privilege." I like the way he always says stuff like "Social justice just means everyone's voice gets heard, nobody's gets taken away! We can all enjoy what we want!" and then goes right on to shit on people for liking media without muh "representation."

This is where the "warrior" part of "social justice warrior" comes from, because everything for them is a zero sum game. They treat everything like a war of attrition instead of a dialog that makes room for others' opinions. Makes total sense why Dobson's chosen them as his hugbox.
