There's two ways of responding to the tweet:

1. Laugh it off due to how horrible the community is, or;

2. Raging over a joke that may be a year old and scream over how "FACTUALLY WRONG" it is even though it is still an ongoing problem in the community.

Tbh even with the pedo shit being solved I'll still look down on the community for being gigantic spergs in general, in a "Oh God why your community fucking sucks" way.

The number of people who were genuinely pissed off by this was something else to me. “Your making a joke out of victims” no they’re making a joke over a super serious fighting game gets constantly lumped with sex offenders. These aren’t isolated incidents either and more will come out sooner or later.
Just wait till another smash player gets an article with even minor praise. Then low and behold there will be more allegations either against them or someone they may know.

its almost like smash is a game played by children which is only on a platform which is targeted towards children. you dont hear about kids getting raped in other parts of the fgc because kids dont play locals. nintendo is eventually going to have to go scorched earth and force these people to segregate like 16 and under to be in junior leagues or some shit because having these mass amounts of kids hang around immature man children is going to lead to kiddie rape

2GGaming is allowing Nairo back, pending an appeal, though I’m not sure how much it will work given he’s still banned by Twitch. Looks like there’s a sea change in how the community is treating Nairo though.

I kind of got the feeling he only hasnt been unbanned from twitch just because twitch is slow as shit to unban male streamers. Feel like they arent so strong on their stance they would just ban any stream he appears on. Could be wrong though

Yeah, I expect if he’s allowed back into any major tournament, at the very least they’ll turn the other way and let his matches stream without incident, but this is Twitch we’re talking about.
