Saying that Qanon believes the government is filled with satanic cannibal pedophiles is like believing the Podesta thing was all about one pizza restaurant in DC. That's just what a bunch of mainstream nerds latched onto and ran with it, nobody actually said that a pizza place was rape HQ for Hillary Clinton but that was cooked up cause it sounds wild and hilarious to boomers.

If that were the case people wouldn't be so threatened by it. If we lived in your world Donald Trump wouldn't have gotten elected. His inability and unwillingness to do anything he promised aside, everything we are talking about literally won a giant election and has the entire media apparatus in a meltdown, so you can take this weird voting shit off the table.

You want to know what the cope with Qanon was? That voting doesn't matter. Like I said, these Conservatives were the last people in America not actively trying to destroy it, and naively thinking that their voice mattered. That was literally what each one of the Qanon dispatches was about, it was the belief that the guy they voted for had their interests in mind and that while everything is working against him and them, American Democracy would prevail. he fact that everyone scoffs at it and calls it a fairytale, sure I'm the same way. But I would much rather live in their world than spit at them for not trying to gerrmander a preferred apocalypse.

Comet ping pong being rape HQ for hillary clinton was brought into the mainstream by Stephen Colbert on his show. (Nevermind that Colbert is a friend to Podesta and his sister also being closely politically tied to Podesta)

I'm surprised that even average normies have heard about these things due to qanon. I'm still not sure if "trust the plan" was not a self-weakening idea. Typically what helps people win elections is a belief that things are dire and fear of consequences. Trust the plan leads to lethargy. As useful as occupying capitol was, the lethargic do nothing with that fact is in my mind a good example how initative was completely surrendered.

I think this is the real take that gets lost in all the noise, once you know how it all turns out it really just comes across as a purposeful anesthetizing of a very large group. The fact that it's been this long and nobody has come out with the big reveal that it was all a masterful troll is suspicious, along with the fact that there was no big finale and just sort of fizzled out. I thought this would come out as some big social experiment book or documentary at best, but if this just ends and is never revisited that leads me to believe it was something more nefarious.

I find Internet Famous is ground zero for seriousposting and flamewars just vaguely around the subjects, and this thread is to American politics what the Contrapoints one is to trans issues. The eceleb is a really flimsy jumping off point for people to just go off and this one has been remarkably civil. I've never seen a janny come in here and pour piss all over everything as they are wont to do.

This is such a good counter to Stonetoss cause artistically it doesn't even make sense. Who is the woman yelling at in panel 3, is it me? Am I the tranny? And why is the medal gone in panel 4 and why is that character suddenly in front of a window, and also why is this being held inside? Why is she reading a newspaper when she is at the event? Like right away the message is twisted and stupid, but you actually need to read it a couple times because it's drawn so shittily.

If I didn't already know this wasn't, I'd say this would be parody of a bad leftie comic.

The funny thing is, I can see them trying to make a strawman. Nobody's getting mad at trans men in men's sport because they aren't dominating the field. Trans women in women's sports are. So this comics comes along and tries to say it wouldn't be fair if we forced trans men to continue playing on women's teams.

Except there's a huge problem with this logic, being the willful ignorance and unidirectional application. Put simply, if you believe testosterone in trans men give them physical advantages over natal women, you need to selectively ignore how this logic also applies trans women who most likely went through decades producing natural testosterone for this comic to make sense. If you don't look at this comic with the thought process of an insane person, you're going to be extremely confused.
