This comic continually reminds me how little Dobson actually knows about computers...I thought he hated McDonalds.

You could either draw a logo yourself to show on screen or you could terribly shove in a photo for no reason because it's easier and more convenient despite how terribly it sticks out.I thought he hated McDonalds.

That comic has always baffled me, because in it he uses McDonalds as an example of something crap, but in other comics he talks about how much he loves it.
Honestly, aside from his status-seeking and pity-seeking behaviour, Dobson is clearly just not somebody who has any real facility for making even moderately complex arguments. He wants to be taken seriously as a social thinker but he has no real capacity to navigate complexity even on really well-worn issues. That's why all his statements are just that, bare statements of "X is good! and "Y is bad", and why he tends to react with confusion and defensiveness when called out on that.

It's funny because no one trully cares about Dobson's opinions, or, at least, takes them that seriously. In fact, Dobson rarelly expresses actual opinions. All he does is whine and bitch about the most irrelevant of things that happen to stir his loins (positively or negatively). He's not exactly the kind of person you want to hear giving their two cents on an important matter, even if you don't agree with them (opposing views can open your mind to certain things, but I wouldn't advise it when it comes to listening to Dobson).
Unless, of course, said matters include complex topics such as 'which Splatoon weapon is best for inflating anime girls', 'how minds afflicted with PTSD can benefit from excessive exposure to lesbianism' and 'why christmas is so much better than hanukkah'.
And every time I look at that goddamn bear I really want to dislodge his jaw. Rather, his whole face. That huge manly chin and wrinklyness on top his nose really don't work for a 'cute' character design. What's Dosbon even trying to go for with this monstrosity? I suppose he DID succeed in making that bear an accurate avatar of his persona, though (and the reactions it stirs in people).
Also, guy in the first panel looks shorter and slimmer than the drawings of him in the last two.
When an actual autistic person who gets no help from his family (or licensed professionals) makes a better life decision than you, I think it's time to stop and reevaluate what you've been doing.

I believe it's something along the lines of "Fine, you people keep bitching about my self-insert not being an unhealthy, balding middle-aged man is inaccurate so I'll make something even more wackly and inaccurate!"
Sometimes I wish he'd just go the 'Whomp' route and acknowledge he's fat and not super-attractive and just have fun with it. But considering it's Dobson it'd probably just end up being super irritating and disingenuous so forget I said anything.
