Beardson got his start as a twitter troll during 2016. Any activity before that I am unaware of. I think beardsonbeardly was his original handle. Early on he supported the alt-right. He liked to claim he was a gamergate supporter driving women out of gaming which was funny. One of his early hits was trolling shoeonhead about race mixing and baldness. I don't think there is much on him from that period. Shawn's backstory has been covered before. He was a member of identity evropa who was fully doxed by anti-fa. The channel was only really active from 2017 to 2018. Honeypot studios was a collaborative youtube channel between four twitter shit posters. All of them were adjacent to weird right wing bodybuilding twitter during 2016 and 2017. The main two were Beardson and Shawn. The other two were Tvkwa and Paul Town. I'll post what I can on tvkwa and Paul.

Tvkwa was a right wing meme video maker who was influenced by Sam Hyde. A lot of honeypot studio's style was him. The guy had actual talent. His “REAL NEWS” series is the only thing that was reuploaded. He had a short feud with journalist Sam Kriss before Kriss was cancelled. After 2018 tvkwa fucked off beside a few uploads on twitter. I think because he was featured in a documentary as an “alt-right meme artist”. There is a clip of Keemstar laughing at the documentary. Tvkwa purged pretty much everything he made to protect his identity because he had an actual future. Assume he has gone into nonpolitical video work since. Here is a channel that has archived some tvkwa videos but I have backups of them. Tvkwa and shawn also got into crypto near the end of honeypot. They had a video called “coin boyz” which is deleted. It never got many views so nobody has a mirror. Only tvkwa would have a copy.

Paul Town is a twitter schizo troll who was into politics in 2016. He was also part of honeypot studios. I think he was the one who connected Beardson and Shawn to weird twitter. Paul was also Beardson and Shawn's third cohost on the weekly sweat for a while until his mental breakdown. Tvkwa was also on there. Can hear them in a few weekly sweat clips. Tvkwa dropped out before he left the internet and Paul left when he had his mental breakdown. Paul is only relevant because of this clip from 2017 that features Nick Fuentes on the sweat. Nick became a usual guest around the end of 2017.

The weekly sweat was a companion to honeypot that lasted longer. The sweat had feuds with other internet right figures like Matt Forny, Millennial Woes, Richard Spencer, and therightstuff. It was Mike Enoch and trs that started calling Beardson and Shawn the “ironybros”. ironybros was originally a 2016 right wing twitter term for chapotraphouse followers. It was about leftists who covered their tweets in irony to hide true beliefs. Beardson and Shawn adopted it to mock Mike Enoch when he used it on them. I don't. Paul is apolitical now by his twitter. He was a performance artist troll. He had a podcast called "paul town hall" but nuked it. You can find a few images in the honeypot archive.

I disagree with making too big of a deal on someone's age with politics because a lot of notable people in American politics and generally throughout history were in their 20s or so when they are apart of big events in history. Hamilton was 21, James Monroe was 18 and James Madison was 25 when the United States declared it's independence from Great Britain, and they're all American Founding Fathers. However, that isn't to say that there's no distinction between 'children' and 'adults', because I don't think any of these men were making Spongebob references or constantly talking about how young or how epic and based and redpilled they are. That's a big problem for Fuentes and a lot of the "Groyper Generals" is that they absolutely do not command respect from those who are in the game and those older than them by how they act online and to their fans.

The reason AF/Groypers don't feel like a serious political movement to almost anyone is because of that. I'd consider one of Nick and other AF personalities like Jaden or Beardson's biggest flaw is that none of them seem like men, which is funny when you consider how much they talk about optics that they still seem like children. Streaming yourself "gaming with the bros" while you don't have a job and talking about Pokemon or other pop culture things from childhood that most adults would still think you're weird or immature for having an interest in does not make for a good image to the average person, especially with the average age of the USA being much older than Nick. Look back again at the Founding Fathers, there were some in their 20s, but a majority of them were in their 30s-40s (aka the men who actually have a genuine vested stake in the country, families, property, etc, but who are still of "political age") and even some older. Like someone said earlier, nobody would've taken Hamilton seriously if they had videos of him T-Posing at women like a 14 year old for a livestream joke.

Fuentes critics and fans alike give him a bit too much of a pass on his age; he's 22, not 15. Despite wanting to "return to tradition", Nick is actively participating in the arrested development of young men across the West and does not act in a way that would be becoming of a man of his age, especially not one who is now trying to head a "serious political movement". This is going to be a big problem for him if he continues to try to grow into politics, because unlike with TV, content creation, or streaming, people don't like when their politicians are duplicitous or joke about their views. I know the Holocaust Cookie Monster joke was a joke, but imagine if someone running for any type of elected office said that, or even something as stupid as a joke about how they spend your tax money on hookers. Even if it was a joke, you'd probably never want to vote for that piece of shit even if he didn't endorse that or even think that way. While words don't have meaning with entertainment and comedy, they have deathly serious meaning in politics and all that surrounds it. Nick needs to make the choice - "am I a serious political figure, or am I just a funny comedian type who streams Fortnite with the bros after my show?"

On your last point, it raises a question for me, because at one point I felt like he and his viewers were all in understanding that he was "not" the leader of any movements, but just a good way to get the message out there. That's what I assumed the justification for his preaching of optics was, and especially with how many clips I've seen of him saying that "this isn't something that can be fixed in just our generation", it appeared like he understood that his function was to be inspiring the next generation who would take up the mantle and that's why he was able to make the jokes he made on his streams or on twitter, because he was only just supposed to be a figure like Tucker Carlson or another right wing talking head that gets the message out. Now it seems like he's trying to position himself as the leader of a fledgling right wing take over, and it's definitely not going to work out how he's hoping.

I disagree on your age point. We are in a new age. people live much longer lives and are juvenile for much longer. Go walk on a college campus and look at the "future leaders", who no longer have kids at 16 but rather 36. I'm not defending catboy shit or his reversal of opinions on kikes and shit, but I still do look at him as kid in a sense and see many general traits of anyone at that age and mistakes that someone that age would typically make. Its been 100s of years since these men, it no longer compares.

I do agree with your last point, Nick couldn't enjoy the small prize and lost it all on the big gamble, reminds me of Zoidberg at the casino.
