Go to https://whatismyipaddress.com/ and click your IP. You'll see a comprehensive list of all information which can be derived from this as a member of the public. Namely, your ISP, which is probably roughly where you live (usually the nearest big city if you're in a small town). With mobile carriers, this information is usually hundreds of miles off.
The information gets more specific if you're in a public network. Namely, a university or large business. If it belongs to a corporate entity then people can determine that someone from the University of XYZ is watching, or an employee on Corporate Network ABC.
The information only becomes identifying in the hands of someone with privileged access. Namely, a government employee or a member of your corporate/university network.
In general, there is nothing a member of the public can do with an IP. However, it would be to Nick's benefit to a) achieve affirmative consent before using WebRTC to start the p2p exchange by having a popup that explicitly enumerates what information is exposed, what the risks are, and how your network will be used,b) offer safe alternatives (VPN shill links are great for this but also have have Tor compatibility) and c) block non-US IPs.
IPs are only dangerous in CONJUNCTION with other information. That exposed list of IPs means nothing. But if you know a person is named John Cena and there's 5000 John Cenas in the US, then it helps knowing you're looking for a John Cena near Ann Arbor, Michigan from IP data.

not with that alone but I can think of various scenarios that are bad
1. you might get wrapped up in legal investigations, they will want to know if you were at DC and stuff like that
2. if you are in another country ( my example is the UK) some antifa can say they feel threatened and that you IP was disseminating terrorist content and you will get a visit from the police and a record
3. someone might just leak all the ips and then later down the road someone will be like "oh this guy is on this list of ips that were sharing white supremacist terrorist content"
4. your IP is a uni campus and you file a complaint and you get suspended when they investigate
... I can go on,
basically, don't be in a p2p network with fuentes without a VPN and without knowing the risks
actively watching a person who has terrorism charges hanging around their neck is not the same thing as seeding homoerotic vampire fiction
