Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

You will think that with so many articles about dangers to democracy Times would know that publishing an article where the author pretty much tells the losing party that they have the whole thing rigged is an actual danger to democracy, idiot is basically baiting a civil conflict.
It's either ridiculous hubris or just straight up trying to bait another 1/6 style incident to justify harsher crackdowns. I can't think of why else you would blatantly use words like 'shadowy cabal' and bragging that everything Trump supporters accused them of is true at least in spirit, but here's why it's a good thing while being careful to word everything so that it's all technically legal.

I think the left is getting so caught up in celebrating that they're forgetting that they aren't invincible. I've heard the comparison that Trump to the left was a mythical monster they needed to defeat, now that they have they're all cheering and telling tales of their deeds. And like always, they're starting to believe their own stories, not realising that they still exist in a world where not everyone will cheer for them. Wouldn't surprise me to see people bragging about throwing out ballots or stuff like that in the future for the same reason.

It's not fraud when they change the laws, or something.

It's so infuriating, and there's nothing anybody can do that's not in Minecraft.
There's little we merry internet people can do about this directly outside of the happy lands of Minecraft, but what we can do is light a fire under the ass of our state level representatives to fight this blatant bullshit as much as possible. Laws that have been changed once can be changed back again, and if money was actually the only deciding factor in politics Hillary would have won in 2016 and there would have been no need for electoral fraud in all it's various forms in 2020. We need more state level GOP polticians like DeSantis in Florida and less like that little bitch Kemp in Georgia.

Yeah but.. Mitt Romney is one of my state Senators. My representative is fine, but not much power there either. I never had much faith in the political process to begin with, and I don't really think there's a non-violent solution to the Clown World.

Your situation is one of bleaker ones for a red state, admittedly. Utah is full of Mormons who will always vote for Snake Oil salesmen like Romney, all I can tell you is to do what you can, where you can as far as your state's local politics are concerned. Cultural and political shifts do not happen overnight, clown world did not happen overnight, and we (sadly) will not return to normalcy overnight either.

Keep your chin up, don't let the doomposters get to you, and remember that neither success nor failure are permanent for either side of the aisle, we'll see better days, politically and culturally speaking.

Oh I know, I'm a pretty radical libertarian so all this is just reinforcing certain anti-government beliefs, but it's still going to get much worse before it gets better.

Orrin Hatch was the guy before Romney and he was another of the RINO types so it wasn't too much of a change. It's still kinda shitty, especially when I see billboards thanking Romney for being principled.

now that they have they're all cheering and telling tales of their deeds.
I don't see this at all.

The left seems angrier now than they did six months ago.

I think we're at that stage where a dictator comes into power and starts purging all the people that used to back him out of paranoia or simply because the useful idiots are no longer needed.

True, at the least the next 4 to 8 years will be somewhat rough for anyone not chugging the MSM Kool-Aid. Romney in particular is a loathsome little snake.

Why are they angry? Big bad Orange Man's no longer in power.

So uh... Democrats are great eh?

The game stop digital riot changed my mind about mine craft.

Yes there isnt any route besodes direct action but direct action doesnt mean destruction and violence.

If youre against the new regime then your goals are to:
Provoke, divert, disrupt, delay and deny

What game stop did was disrupt business as usual. It provoked the suits to attack normies with media, taking their shares, and attack them with the sec. Maybe even IRS. It destroyed their legitimacy to the point foreigners will be hesitant to invest in us financial markets. It did damage. Yet it wasnt violent. Yet it was a form of direct action.

Another form of direct action is the meme "its ok to be white".
What this does is provoke the media to reveal its true intentions. It generates an over reaction. It gets people to to question the legitimacy of the media.

Another is whwt trump would do. He would misspell a word on purpose or get a small detail wrong. The news would jump on it. Trump would fix it. The end result would make the media look loke crazed liars.

There are non violent means. You just have to read history about the topic. One good source is the museum of hoaxes. Check it out.

wow so they are accusing Trump of running a "shadow government" when Obama was doing the exact same thing with all the hold overs in the three letter agencies. They accuse Trump of what they are doing.

A reminder what the left is.

I looked it up to check this quote and holy shit Marcuse's prose is long-winded and a chore to read. No wonder he's safely hidden from common view. Naturally the justification for this shit is effectively "We have to fight dirty because the deck's stacked against us", the eternal Leftist excuse (albeit probably true in the early 1960s) .

Hell, if they convince enough people that it's rigged, they won't even have to rig it. They love dogwhistles so much they even do it to their political enemies!

I can't wait to see them loose another election since by the time scamdemic's over, they can't rely on mail-in ballots forever and having all the branches of government makes them easier target for criticism.

Oh man, imagine how bad the shitstorm will be if Harris is the one to lose to some white Republican dude. It will be 2016 x a bajillion, people will be literally deafened by the screeching coming from New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

This is already in A&H but I feel like it can go here as well since it's pretty insane:

The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election

tl;dr
Democrats created a massive conspiracy to alter the results of the election, and that is a good thing.
Interesting timing. Users on Twitter like Cassandra Fairbanks were posting new video footage yesterday they compiled of vans on election night dropping off dozens of vote boxes between 3 and 4am (Remember those random voting spikes for the Bidster?). Got her suspended, but thankfully she's back.

Also huh, when did they add that nonsense about not being able to retweet or liking?

Hell, if they convince enough people that it's rigged, they won't even have to rig it.
You already have people who unironically believe that any issues with American elections are just what it is. On some, "Problems in our voting system are as American as hot chicks wearing Daisy Dukes, apple pie and lemonade."
