Why shouldn't batman be a role model?
  • Took something negative and turned it into action.
  • Has money and gives to charity.
  • Invests in science.
  • Beats the shit out criminals.
He's a better role model than Dobson.

Dobson's a huge hypocrite when it comes to superheroes. He's fine with unrealistic female power fantasies becoming common but bemoans male power fantasies ever being a thing.

A lot of failed "men" like Dobson resent the fact that they grew up thinking that they could only be men if they did X, Y, and Z, so now they hate any perception of what it means to "be a man." Of course, Batman exists to make money for DC first and will gleefully pander to its audience if that's what makes money. Dobson of course thinks he's the ideal male role model himself in spite of him admittedly being a mess emotionally and physically.

So "Sawnik teh maskhog" would be Ridley?

Also that last tweet contradicts... well literally everything said by a popular feminist within the last few years.

Nah. "Gender essentialism is bad for everyone" is pretty much the cornerstone of mainstream academic feminism (see bell hooks, for example) and corporate media feminism (Gloria Steinem and so on). "Men are violent beasts, women are gentle moon goddesses" is strictly for radfems.

That said, Dobs is just flapping his jawbone about nothing and actual feminists/womanists/egalitarians would find his nonsense embarrassing and childish.

Dobson is going on a tweet rampage.

"Companies do not have a right to make sexual depictions of women, now watch as I retweet some sexualized depictions of women I drew."

>There is nothing wrong with being sexually attracted to sexualized imagery.
>"STOP DOING SEXIST CRAP!"

Never even knew there was a #noshame day. Then again, I'm just all around shameless... well unless I done something horrible like murder but I haven't so far...

So when will Dobson admit he likes to make tragedies about himself? Seriously, this would probably be a great time to open up about stuff he's not proud of or less than virtuous things he's been up to, instead of ~progressive~ ass-coverage.

EDIT: @MrsFrizzle I suppose. Though I used the word "popular" for a reason, in that the reasonable ones (i.e. Summers, ect) tend to be quite reviled by the mainstream. Guess with all the sjw shit, it's hard NOT to conflate feminist and radfem... my bad.

Gender essentialism is bad, but the fact that Dobson wants feminism to focus on men is still hilarious. He really does have to be the center of everything, even the things are supposed to be specifically not about him.

Dobson is totally neurotypical. He talks about feeling depressed, and I'm sure it's true, but there is a big difference between feeling depressed (which happens sometimes to almost everybody) to suffering from depression.

Dobson's depression is most likely something he's worked himself into rather than a neurological disorder. I think he could benefit from anti-depressants in the short term, just to allow him to see things from a different perspective.

I agree with that. Often, in the winter, I will feel down and as shit. I say that I feel depressed but, I don't say that I suffer from it. Why? Because I haven't got a diganos from a professional. I have no right to compare my shitty mode with those that suffer from it.

Wow. Is it me or has Dobson become even more of a hypocritical pussy during his latest Twitter dump?

The phony pacificism as a Nintendo fanboy, whining about Batman, and the mansplaining about feminism...

He deserves to be shamed. Good show to whoever posted his CattyN work!

I consider myself a feminist and Batman is my favorite Superhero. In fact, he's one of my all time favorite fictional characters. I'll admit, that I'm not a fan of some of his interpretations (Like Nolan's or 2000s Frank Miller for example) but I don't get what he means by "this generation's Batman" considering that there are plenty of modern interpretations of Batman that exist in different media. And even then, a shitty written Batman probably has a lot more going on for him than Dobson ever did.

Mario crush living things with his own bodyweight. (yeah, I know it is fanart)
Dobson! Stop being such a douche and an asshole! also, about Batman, maybe look this up: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AntiHero Batman is an anti-hero. You hear that? Anti-hero.
It's remarkable how grimdark the Mario world would be if it was realistic.

PS.
I still like Mario better than Batman, because nobody takes Mario seriously, while there is an alarming lot of people out there who for some reason insist on discussing comics/movies about a man running around in a bat costume and throwing bat-themed devices at supervillains like it was classic literature... next thing, you know, we'll be having people who discuss the "philosophy" behind horsie cartoons for children... nah, I'm being silly, this could never happen.
Anyway, I prefer Mario.
