Thats very true. I got into Quinton a few back due to his Ranken bass reviews, cause as stated its basically non-existent, and he always seems to sprinkle in a anti-trump joke, or politic joke, and it would be like getting splashed with really cold water, while your just trying to listen to a review on something completely different.
He fails to grasp at his fall while alienating people who want to get away from politics, which is surprisingly a good chunk of normal people, as well as reinforce his whole soyboy image of him being a ultra left leaning liberal.
Quinton is not gonna reflect anytime in the future, even if it causes his fall. I bet you he will kick and scream and cry as he is falling down cause thats a harsh reality, rather than getting back up and doing something different.

Armchair psychoanalysing a bit here (what else is this thread for) but I think I understand it. Lindsay’s the best of both worlds for people like Movieblob and Q, in that she seems attainable on account of her 5-6/10 looks and their shared interest in inane politics and pop culture, but she also has that Regina George cool kid thing going on in their little circle. It wouldn’t even occur to him to simp for someone like iJustine because she’s too hot and he doesn’t have a pretext to talk to her, but Lindsay offers him the pretext, the pussy and the popularity all at once.

Quinton really loves to rewrite history on this one, so I'm gonna clear this up:
- Pre-history - Quinton and Mumkey don't like each other. Mumkey calls Quinton a "fat cuck," at one point. This insult sticks with Quinton a while.
- November 2018 - Mumkey's channel is deleted. Quinto makes a joke about it because Mumkey made fun of him a few times. Quinton immediately gets backlash on Twitter and deletes it.
- December 2018 - Quinton goes on the (now-defunct) State of the Youtube podcast to explain his actions or something. He can be heard playing with Legos in the recording - link
- January 2019 - Mumkey, along with Rusty Cage, Rags, and MauLer, talk on the same podcast. They make fun of Quinton a bit - link
- February 2019 - Quinton sends a series of DMs to a fake Mumkey on Twitter, accusing Mumkey of inciting death threats and doxing from his fans (the owner of that account was revealed at some point, I remember it being Just Jargon, but I'm not certain). The fake Mumkey sends them to the real one, who reads them on a live stream. Quinton freaks out and messages the real Mumkey while the stream is happening. - link
That's it. Mumkey has mentioned Quinton off-handedly during livestreams, but that's literally it.
Quinton has been carrying this grudge against Mumkey more than 2 years to the point that he views it as a vital component to his brand and identity.

Mumkey didn't even give a shit about the tweet and thought that it was stupid that Quinton got backlash for it.
During the SotY podcast episode Q was on, you could tell they were treating him with kiddie gloves as Mumkey wasn't there and the other cohosts (Emp and Rusty) were rather hospitble to him.

It's just comparative. All the women I can think of that are breadtube adjacent or talk about nerd shit are at best extremely mousey and plain or at worst gross slobs.
It's like how you can work with someone who's a 6 but an "office 10".

I think important thing here is that she's the part of the clique Q jerked off to in 2018. She's one of the "breadtubers" Q was hoping to become when he threw away what little online presence and credibility he had with his sperging over Trump, "anti transphobe" and unforgettable Hontra simping video. Sure some tards on r/BreadTube called him a breadtuber recently but by now breadtube is a joke even among lefties and all the ones Q aspired to (Philosophy Tube, Sarah Z, Ellis, Hontra, Hbomb, Shaun) called it cringe by now
So my theory is that, judging from him sliding into their DMs and trying to get their attention despite clearly getting none and the fact that he apparently was part of some facebook group with those lefty "celebs" and thinks hbomb "likes" him (which I doubt hbomb knows he likes Q), Q really considered himself a part of THE breadtube. Possibly some of those Ellis adjacent people said smth like "nice vid" in passing at one point and that he was once in their vicinity at vidcon which Q interpreted as them being buddies (see MovieRoberto thinking that his picture with Ellis meant they were friends), while they likely thought Q is just another autistic fat feminist 90% their audience consist of

Where does Queefton go from here? He escaped relatively unscathed comparative to his other blunders. In that recent text log you get a sense that he feels almost emboldened by it except for the fact he can’t stream iCarly games on Twitch until June.
