Yeah there's not really a lot of politicians on here because usually they're not funny and embarrassing, just enraging. But I've noticed there's a handful of users on this board who get really seething mad at Trump and the Right, but add a lot of fake laughter to make it look like they don't care.
For example, that image of him with the McDonalds. The real lolcows were the ones freaking about that at the time in the media and Twitter. If my memory serves, the problem was that something was wrong with the kitchen or the caterer, so they couldn't do the regular thing. The McDonalds was a last minute save and the event was to honor some high school football team or something, so what ended up happening was a bunch of huge teenagers showed up and got all the McDonalds they could eat and they seemed really happy. But if you watched Twitter, they kept trying to force it into some huge deal. I mean if you look at most of these cases, at the time it was either something that was a non-issue that was overblown, or Trump trolling people with a shiteating grin and people wanna believe he didn't know what he was doing when he's done it literally all his adult life.

It just means that Kiwifarms has as many left leaning morons as it does right leaning morons. This is a good thing, because it shows that the website wasn't made just for 8chan rejects

I've seen this exact type of situation happen on /cow/. There were teams that either partially or completely decided not to attend any reception celebrations of their victories, that particular team had maybe one or two that opted out and was mostly intact attending the event from what I recall. He actually lost jobs in his term.
EDIT: this was of course partially covid, but he did not in any way meaningfully impact the creation of new jobs in the US. In many ways he was a discouragement for new jobs in the US in plenty of industries as they had to suddenly deal with tariffs due to his trade wars. Other industries had moderate growth, but nothing like what he promised and said the tax cuts would bring. The tax cuts overall resulted in a raise in stock prices from buybacks and very few actual jobs suddenly created.

LBJ was a really weird dude and honestly one of the most effective politicians this country ever had despite being a very strange strange guy.

He had a nickname for everyone. He also loved to intimidate political rivals by unzipping next to them at urinals and showing off his massive schlong and talking to them. He’d also make people he didn’t like talk to him while he was pooping on the toilet just to make them uncomfortable.

Despite all of this he was a masterful senate leader and was able to use that to strong arm plenty of legislation he wanted into happening during his term in office.
