💰 Grifter StoneToss (allegedly, formerly Red Panels)

I get the message with the Christian church being burned down. Europe has been having problems with fundamental Islamists and refugees as of late.

But why is the Jewish church next door (aside from the typical Jews are responsible for everything?) To a Muslim church of all places?
It's not about location, it's just saying that it's only ever Christians and Christian churches being attacked.

Its might also have a more metaphorical secondary meaning about how in general the only people who are having their traditions, culture and religion attacked from all angles (without anyone standing up against the attackers/trying to protect and promote what is being attacked) are white Christians. If Jews are a target of a hate crime its a huge thing and we have entire organizations about protecting them. Same with muslims. Christians though, its celebrated when people spit on their beliefs and culture.

Could be reading too much into it, but the last two panels really give off the vibe that no one cares about the destruction of Christians.

Was there a new church burning? Because otherwise the comic is late.
There has been a church burning almost every 2 weeks for years now.

There was a catholic church in Israel last week, where they caught the jewish perpetrator.

Here's a map of French church burnings from 2016-2019, compiled by citizens, each linked to local papers as the subject gets barely airtime, even after notre dame:

downloadfile-161.jpg

Of note: these do include other crimes. About one in three red marks is a church burning, FYI

The synagogues aren't being burned down.
And in the rare occasion that something does happen, you'll hear about it for a looong time.

TD;DR:This is pretty good

Usually leftists ause this photo which Capitan America punches hitler as a tool to mock Conservatives and other right wingers when they won an argument;

But here is an panel from that comic, a Japanese General (or soldier) that looks like gorilla and in the modern world this would be pretty racist but they don't really care

(I know this is long but)
This is what I've been waiting for,for a very long time...
Usually leftists and SJWs(and etc) use this photo which Capitan America punches hitler as a tool to mock usually Conservatives and other right wingers when they won an argument;
For example two shitty gimmick accounts on twitter, bigotsgettingowned (idk if it got suspended or not, it had more than 100k followers) and Consevatives getting owned both had this photo as their PFP
But here is an big problem, that comic had racist Japanese stereotypes which leftists think they're one of the minorities and protected groups (like Blacks or Jews)
Here is some evidence

Bigotsgettingowned changed theier PFP after finding this btw

These people are really dumb and don't understand why in a real war like World War II absolutely anything against the enemy is justified and even necessary. This is why you never actually want to have wars like that, ever again.
Racism against the Japanese was rampant, and probably led to legit war crimes, but the absolute monstrosity that was Imperial Japan during the Sino-Japanese war and Pacific war against the US and the commonwealth was orders of magnitude worse.

To put the run of the mill racism of colonial superiority on the same plane as the rape of Nanking and war crimes against Allied civilians is beyond ludicrous. It shows just how fucking off base your average progressive is now in terms their sense of scale.

It's very reminiscent of the recent efforts to cancel Roald Dahl because the world renowned author who fought against the Nazis in a British special ops squad, often in hellish conditions, made a couple of politically incorrect (by modern standards) comments about Jews, The person who wrote that article even tries to somehow turn all the adversities Dahl faced and overcame during his life into some kind of dig against him.

Are people just now learning about racially insentive propaganda against the Japanese? Hell in WW1 US portrayed the germans as literal monkeys:

On the stonetoss comic itself I find it to be a poor retreading of the "ANTIFA IS THE REAL NAZIS" talking point which just has no basis in reality. A movement can be violent and mob based without being fascist. I'll give him that the set up is creative but the actual point is played out.

It's not that people are just discovering it (well, except dumb, impressionable kids who get brainwashed into this bullshit). It's that now they have the societal clout to stir up enough shit over it to cancel and censor old historic media. Keep in mind that many of these people want to create the eternal present where the past is constantly being rewritten from Orwell's 1984.

I don't think Stonetoss's point was that "Antifa are the real Nazis." At least I don't think that was his only point. You're looking at only the Red Skull portion of the comic. Look at it from the Captain America side of things. I think his point was to highlight the irony and hypocrisy of anti-American Antifa (many of these people proudly wave signs and wear shirts saying "America Was Never Great") hiding behind the legacy of historical American patriots, both real and fictional, to attack current day American patriots for being "Nazis." Most of the conservatives, libertarians, and Trump supporters Antifa has been attacking and censoring have far more in common with the WW2 soldiers of yesteryear than the anarcho-communist dangerhair nonbinary goons on the other side. That a cancel campaign was kicked off against British WW2 vet Roald Dahl at almost the same time this comic came out is a wonderful coincidence that really proves this. Roald Dahl isn't American, but the principle is the same.

I hear you, but saying "your movements shares some of the worst aspects of an ideology you purport to hate" isn't is pithy, he certainly isn't accusing them of ridding a downtrodden nation of it's sex tourism.

I think you are overthinking it, it feels more like a general Antifa criticism that everyone can immediately "repent" and become good guys as long as they call themselves antifascist and put themselves against an acceptable target.

Yeah, pretty sure that's what it is. There's been a lot of notorious gamergators or alt-righters suddenly swapping to the other side and becoming violent revolutionary antifa-types and this looks like a jab at that, if a little late.

It's fun how much explanation stonetoss comics take sometimes.

I remember Patrice O Neal saying that the best comedy is half the room laughing and half the room disgusted/offended. Sometimes I think stonetoss has found a new intersection, with half the internet getting it and half the internet needing it explained to them.

It's what makes antifastonetoss comments so enjoyable. Just comment after comment of "I don't get this and I'm offended!".

This is a reference to that weird Indian meme with the "friendship ended with Ranjeep" or whoever his name was. Which is kind of funny in a surreal sense, but it's mostly just cramming multiple jokes together, making it just referential humor for the most part.
