I don't know anyone else's motivations but I already consider Nick a hypocrite. As soon as anyone says they're a lolbertarian I become very skeptical and look for the (what seems to me to be) the inevitable lapses in moral integrity.
How much is there to say? He ran a glorified blog called the Ralph Retort that was pro-GG, while posturing as a "real" journalist. Did he ever get into any slap fights with Wu, Quinn, or Sarkeesian? Most of the Gamergate drama was so overblown and boring.
I'm not saying that wouldn't be funny (it definitely would), but for me I just cannot suffer hypocrisy at this level. It's why I respected null when he broke ties with Molest-Your-Son, he knew that his denouncement of pedophilia would never hold up under scrutiny if he was still associated with him. Rekieta's opinions on basically anything regarding domestic abuse or pedophilia can never be taken seriously by anyone with even half-baked knowledge of Ralph and Dick unless he specifically denounces them, which he will never do since they're all buddy buddies.

I think he may try to become part of its life once it's about 14 and can begin to fend for itself a bit... that is if he makes it that long and if the kid isn't smart enough to tell someone stepping in at that late stage out of sheer laziness just to fuck off
Ethan is far too much of a pussy to actually commit suicide. He will probably just continue to abuse his body with drugs, "food," and booze. The most you'll get is him ODing on banzos+alcohol or opiates+whatever
He primarily blocks people on twitter because they break the echochamber for his fans and guntguard not because he doesn't want to see it (although I'm sure that isn't a complete nonfactor). It's a pretty smart tactic most grifters use on both sides of the political aisle.

Being a lawyer got his foot in the door to attract an audience thanks to all the internet lawsuit slap fights and people wanting answers to questions and information. After that seeded the ground now it’s just another case of internet daddy syndrome. A bunch of younger guys wanting some dude to look up too and get advice from. They can toss coins at him to give them a minute of attention. But he's got a law degree, a house, a wife, kids and religion (i think) so that appeals to guys who also have those type of goals or lifestyle. His viewers like that he's achieved things other than just being an obnoxious asshole on YT and seems to understand their lingo and way of thinking.
I think ralph is a huge headache for anyone who associates with him. But to answer your question, at the moment yes. It was plain he doesn’t want the chat to talk about it, Gunty has struck out at him on more than one occasion (if i’m not mistaken), I think he just wants to be an island in all this, we all know, no one is going to let that happen.
