I agree, that’s what a normal person would do, clean up, play the long game. send cards letters and gifts to the kid, be responsible, then make a move for some kind of shared custody.
If people thought Nick would give a full-throated disavowal of Ralph, they wouldn't even bother superchatting asking for it. All the fun in doing it is by seeing the sleazy youtube lawyerman try to weasel his way out of saying things that he obviously doesn't want to, but that he should want to say if his irl life and attitudes were the same as his 'larp for donation' ones. It's also fun seeing if you can get Ralph to blow up at him in response to even the most milquetoast of implied criticism from Nick. They will generally garnish wages, regular job type stuff. ( they do that through your employer) the way he makes his money and how the payments come in won’t work for that. They’ll put him on a weekly payment schedule. He can ignore or play fast and loose with it at his own peril. You get one or two warnings, after that jail time.
