Faith and you live in some weird world if you think having a child to raise for eighteen years with some schmuck sending $120 a month (and I highly doubt they will ever see that from the Gunt) equals a “free ride.” If so Housing projects are full of single moms living that “free ride” dream I guess.

Having a baby by a trashy fat bum means Faith’s parents, and eventually her, bare all the costs and burdens of raising that child. It’s the opposite of a free ride, it’s more akin to pushing a very expensive wagon with 16 years of monthly payments due up a steep hill. She’s now dependent on her parents during critical years to ensure her and the child survive because the father is a useless POS. I’m actually glad she went back home because Ralph is basically a walking poster boy for shaken baby syndrome. I think raising a infant in a home with him in it would be exceedingly dangerous.

Neither Faith nor the Gunt gave any thought to the real repercussions or responsibilities a child would create for them. None. Well, I guess Ralph thought maybe another chick he wants to fuck could like help out or something in between three-ways and blow jobs.

The Vickers, and especially the eventual kid, got the shit end of the stick in all this. The only one who gets any sort of a free ride will probably be Ralph because I’d bet he will never pay a dime towards child support nor a spend a minute caring for the child.

My opinion on this would be different if Faith had told Ralph she was on birth control and “tricked” him into getting her pregnant or something of that nature. It's hard to know. You can also get dry sounding coughs if you have asthma or heart failure I think. It wouldn't be surprising if he did, but it could be for other reasons. He's probably exercised more in the past few weeks than he has in his entire life. That might cause some issues with whatever conditions he has.
