Lying about some unspecified person in his household catching COVID is one of the most obvious lies Jack has ever told. Jack has virtually no filter or respect for people's privacy, so if someone did catch it, he would have blabbed every possible detail about it.

True, but catching the exact same strain of COVID twice is so exceedingly rare that's it's almost epidemiologically irrelevant. The recent surge in cases and hospitalizations is driven almost entirely by first time infections.

Right, but it's still dangerous for someone with his health issues to just take for granted (assuming he'd actually had covid) that they can't or won't catch it again. I like how someone in his household of four people caught covid. Just the one. And everyone else was asymptomatic like Jack, I suppose? I guess his murder pastor must have sprained a muscle praying so hard for that miracle.

We all assumed it was Brianna, but logically that wouldn't make sense since she just got married and Jr would have wanted to fuck regardless. It wouldn't be Tammy since Jack would have mentioned her catching it from her bull in a live stream. So who the fuck caught it Jack?

in the live chat a few weeks ago when he brought it up, he said "she" tested positive. so we can assume it's tammy jr he's referring to. i'm calling BS on it because there's no way she had it and didn't pass it on to anyone else in the house. and there's also no way they all got it and were asymptomatic. it's nothing more than jack lying his ass off to defend his ignorance

"well someone in the house tested positive and we're all fine so obviously it's being overblown!"

There is no way he could get covid and actually be asymptomatic. Also I think everyone knows by now that you can absolutely catch covid more than once.
I know that everybody likes to give Jack shit for his COVID-19 takes (including me, tbh), but the mortality rate really isn't as high as people make it out to be. Even people with significant comorbidities like Jack can get it and survive or even not have any symptoms. Also, there was never any real evidence that you could get COVID more than once., just a few cases of probable relapses. Like most coronaviruses, COVID-19 probably gives you at least a few years of immunity.

You realise that death isn't the only long term effect of Covid and to reduce it to just that is stupid? And for someone with the amount of comorbidities that Jack has, even the minor effects of the disease would be enough to tip him over the edge, even if corona-chan isn't the direct cause

What was his exact wording? The "tested positive" thing is a fucking meme at this point, it doesn't imply anything about symptoms, severity, infectivity, circulating levels of live virus, or really anything useful besides the presence of specific antigens. So while Jack does sound like he was lying, if someone in his house got the sniffles and happened to test positive for coronavirus, it doesn't mean they had it, which would explain how nobody in the house got it.

from what i've read, immunity can last anywhere from 3-7 months. but that doesn't mean you can't get infected with another strain. there have absolutely been confirmed cases of people getting reinfected

his wording was that someone in the house tested positive

let's assume he's not lying. if tammy jr tested positive for covid that would mean that it was either a false positive or that she had it at one point. and since she's been living in the house for a while now, it would still be unbelievable that she had it and either didn't pass it to anyone or that she did pass it on and everyone else was asymptomatic

A person in a household who's covid-19 positive could avoid spreading it to everyone else by taking extreme precautions: self isolating in the house, wearing masks, disenfecting surfaces constantly, etc. But we know these slobs would'nt do any of that.

Why would anyone in that house be tested to begin with? They don't get tested for the flu every year and this is exactly the same thing to their logic.

Jack just wanted to divert criticism, as others have mentioned. If someone had actually gotten tested, he would have given intrusive details, even if they were all asymptomatic by some miracle. He definitely never had covid. And he could easily breeze through the next six months without catching it, while sweet old people who never hurt a fly die alone, not because he took any precautions but just because there is no God.

Jack do you watch Cobra Kai?

"I started to, but then I quit because it was like two old guys trying to relive their glory days."

TTHAT'S THE FUCKING POINT OF THE SHOW.

I'm sure you know by now that the antibodies are undetectable after a few months and the people are being re-infected, right? This is not an ordinary coronavirus. This is something we've never seen before. All I know for sure about it is that apparently the Wendigo is immune.

#1 should be "how much i truly rely on tammy in my life"

#1 should be "how much i truly rely on tammy in my life"
All of this is your typical boomer Facebook talk the above 50 crowd posts to make themselves feel good and get attention even if they're horrifying shallow people.

1. The only thing he relies on is Tammy. Just like his gluttony Jack also is the definition of a Cafeteria Christian with his strange church, pastor, and morals which all would be seen as sinful in any other denomination.
2. Like treating all his servers like garbage, neglecting mask mandates in businesses, blocking places with the scooty-puff and making his kid have a barn door wedding while him and his wife go on two vacations unemployed and in a global pandemic.
3. Which is why people who question him are silenced by being banned to the Boy's Club, and he gets in slapfights on Facebook about some QAnon conspiracy tabloid trash including with his brother.
4. If things really carried over year to year then he wouldn't have let his body degenerate to the point where he can't even walk more than two miles without exploding his legs, or the multiple strokes. He also let part of his business go poof letting several trademarks expire and having the BBQ Sauce sales run out.

I'm sure he'll remember all of this for 2021 though.

The other pointer that if someone did have it in the household, you would have had two likely things happen.
First would be he probably would have went on Facebook to do a rant about how it's fake and the test is a false positive or some other insane conspiracy theory if it's a mild/asymptomatic case, or talking about needing love and prayers when it turns out that certain person is actually sick. If it was implied to be Tammy Jr he would have been posting on Facebook something about it happening just as they got married.
The second and bigger one is that if it was in the household all of them would have been under observation of some kind. I don't know the specifics of Tennessee but my guess would be he'd be contacted by a tracer along with the others to have them monitor their temperature and get tested for two weeks; depending on when this happened and availability of testing even quarantine themselves until they can get a test scheduled and test negative. I don't see Jack as having the patience to follow proper protocols and he'd either sit at home whining about being stuck inside unable to stuff his face on slop and how it's some conspiracy, or break quarantine and be a potential super spreader incident.

We can remind Jack about Taiwan this weekend and how they had less than 800 Covid cases for the whole country. They're able to enjoy everything there with or without masks, and you wear a mask only if you think you're feeling sick.

What Jack is not aware of, however, is the pure draconian rules they placed in regards to quarantine, travel, and mask mandates. A recent news story came out about a worker from the Philippines who was fined nearly $4k US for stepping out of his quarantine hotel room for 8 seconds, or how the police can fine you $500 US for improper mask wear. All foreign travel banned at first, but it has loosened up a bit (no Americans though).
