💰 Grifter StoneToss (allegedly, formerly Red Panels)

I remember back in 2015 and early 2016, when Trump was still just the meme candidate, he was often described in centrist media (mainstream and independent) as using "verbal" or "rhetorical hand grenades", written or spoken statements so inflammatory that they agitated everyone who saw or heard them. This is a pretty good example of one imo.
Twitter thrives off these, and this tweet in particular indeed reads designed to garner attention.

These shitty fake meat products are less healthier than real meat. Vegan brands seem to have an identity crisis. Just make good tasty plant based food, stop trying to be fake meat. It tastes like shit and it's bad for you.
Every few years since the 90s they try to really push vegetarian or vegan versions of meat. They all fail and get forgotten; last year they especially pushed hard and in 2020, they forgot all about it. Now thanks to the creepy billionaires who want to run our lives, we have to contend with heavy promotion of eating bugs too.

Like all dietary things I just think it's easier to cut it out entirely than have a shitty version of it. Just stop drinking pop, don't drink a shitty worse version to cheat. I see the same people struggle with bread when trying to lose weight, instead of eating less pasta they'll switch over to whole grain pasta which nobody on Earth likes.

Agreed. Every time we try to cheat nature and create something healthier it seems to create more problems than it solves

I don't get these fake meat things. There are plenty of already vegan alternatives to meat that aren't meat. If you want meat just quit being a bitch and eat some. There are plenty of things like seitan and tofu that are already completely edible and there are already millions of recipes based on them. You can use them for these, or just to stretch meat when it's in short supply. Otherwise just eat a goddamn potato or something if you don't want meat.

The fact is they actually do want meat. And they use these horrible substitutes that taste like shit. Pure masochism.

Considering the quasi-religious nature of veganism, these fake meat products present an occasions of sin issue. The more you're reminded of how much you'd prefer to eat actual meat the more likely you are to give up and go ahead and do that, as most vegans eventually do. It's like exchanging a sex addiction for a porn addiction. You're still a coomer.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: coom begins in the soul.

Title: Pick Your Poison

Mouseover: "I've never seen a thin person drink diet coke" -Donald Trump

I'm pretty addicted to Big Black Cock (but I really dislike diet) and the equivalency here doesn't really stand. Cola is just water, sugar and food colouring. While Soy meat will give you boobs, bug meat is absolutely disgusting and synth meat is people. Not to mention those "alternatives" exists to justify removing the selling of meat, while nobody is going to use Cola to justify people to stop drinking water (at least not yet).

Who even DRINKS diet soda? Stuff tastes watered down and chemically.

Arguably, it's less healthy than regular soda.
I do, I actually like it better. I like that it has a bit more of a carbonated bite feeling, and I grew up drinking it so dont mind the more chemical-y flavor, since regular soda makes you feel sick and has the body of heavy syrup thinned with water. The cancer thing Ive heard forever but I grew up drinking it, my parents drank it most of their life--were still standing which leads me to lean towards it being a coincidental correlation, like arguing that eating certain foods can cause cancer (people argue that eating a lot of smoked or barbecued foods, those can be considered carcinogenic).

I also argue that if Im gonna drink my calories Im gonna be getting fucked up on it, so I use it mostly in mixed drinks, cheap whiskey and diet coke isnt the worst thing. Other than that if Im eating food Id rather drink water, or some non-caloric drink that isnt so heavy when you drink it, or Ill get a beer or something.

On the other hand one could megetables, like the marrot.

They're a vegetable substitute made of 99% meat, yet taste like vegetables.

That looks fucking disgusting. Why would anyone in their right mind want to eat that? Vegan burgers and synthetic meat, I guess I can understand, but what's the point of eating a slimy meat-based synthetic carrot that looks like it has the consistency of dog shit?

Ehhh, sea creatures such as lobsters and shrimps are essentially the bugs of the ocean, people still eat them.
I heard fried crickets, spider eggs, tarantulas, and cicada cocoons are actually clean and tasty, but they aren't vegan, right? Vegans consider fucking honey non-vegan, let alone spiders and cicadas minding their own business.
They may be tasty, but fuck no I ain't eating it.

They acknowledge that meat is desirable and tasty, yet vegan types think eating meat was a matter of survival and humans are naturally herbivores, lol.

Come on, bros. I like the Impossible Whopper...
Yuck.
It's also as unhealthy as a processed meat patty: https://www.healthline.com/health-n...althy#Made-from-plants,-but-not-a-health-food
In that case, just eat a normal burger, or a good vegetarian/vegan one that's not suffering an identity crisis.

Vegan burgers and synthetic meat, I guess I can understand
It's not hard to make a good vegan burger. Have dense potato buns, a large battered oyster mushroom, thin fried tofu, some apple slaw and pickles. Falafels are also nice additions. Vegetarians can swap the tofu out for halloumi and add a fried egg.

There's plenty good veggie burgers that aren't trying to be fake meat. I like fish burgers too.

It has all the joys of vegetables flavor, but with sufficient protein to be a good diet.

And at least you know something with feelings died to nourish you.
