I feel like I got super lucky my political science teacher in college was someone who lived under communism in Ukraine, and that was her first semester teaching the class, too (she was hired for algebra originally).

For real though there are only a few fringe weirdos in the Bible belt who think Trump is anointed by God or whatever, but I saw a ton of this from the left with Ruth Bader Ginsburg of all people, which caught me off guard since I thought most liberals were of the fedora tipping persuasion. They hated Biden from the beginning and are now rediscovering their balls realizing just what a Biden/Harris presidency means for them. Any progressive that isn't completely consumed by TDS is probably better off with a second Trump term anyway since they're in a lot better position to perform entryism into the Democratic Party if the corporate neolibs have been defeated.

Because while Dore may be a liberal, he's not a Democrat shill and usually doesn't have an issue taking shots at anybody. I respect the guy even if I think he's a bit too old to be that idealistic about politics and society.

It's not what he said. It's what he didn't say. He didn't say "I concede. Joe Biden is the winner and I will issue no further challenges to the legitimacy of his victory".
