It's a pattern. New accounts keep being made right after another one freaks out all over the farms and then makes a new one almost immediately after. If you don't want us to believe you're Greg, get verified by a mod. But the fact that new accounts just refuse to do so, well...

Stop telling people to get verified that’s not a thing for 99% of users. It’s just for people who claim to be lolcows or their well-known orbiters who make accounts to dish on the lolcow.

Not everyone knows that, chill. Honestly, the endless influx of socks should be verified it's been getting out of hand. Better make it a general PSA then, because I'm not the only one who's been doing it.

I mean, from the word “verified” it’s pretty obvious. And mods don’t have time to verify everyone who comes walking through the door. You only need to “verify” yourself if you declare yourself as a person with unique personal information to the thread—in this case a relative of Onision, the shallots’ teacher, etc. We verify people so not just anyone can come in and say “I’m Greg’s sister and I saw him fucking a minor” or some shit. I’m not a mod and even I can tell you ain’t nobody wasting time verifying every newbies personal info, nor can we reasonably ask that of them.

I suggested ignoring any account under two weeks old but I can understand that a lot of people enjoy fucking with the socks, so it seems there’s really no other option than to let it slide and laugh at the tards. I myself was probably over exaggerating it some pages back, it’s really not that big of a deal. Newbie waves always end eventually anyway.

Is it just me or am I reading into this too much but did this retard also mistake 'too' and 'to'? The same way 2 of the ex-socks also did it. I am spending too much time watching new accounts. If I had to guess I would guess it was him.

Yeah, I think myself and the other person only suggested them being verified was because it was getting a little extreme and do believe someone even tried to summon a mod a few threads back. Nah, you're fine. I think a lot of people are just high strung from the election, too.

For a while I'd resolved to just rate every account made within the last week autistic until they disappear, but there's a new sock every day and there's no way everyone would agree to just ignore them. Even if they aren't Greg, several new accounts have joined saying they "just want to fuck with Onision" and clearly don't know what this forum is about, so there's merit in chasing them off before we have a wave of failtrolls shitting up the thread with their screenshots of totally epic roasts and tales of conquest on fatty's twitter.
