Couple weeks ago I was feeling there was a high chance of Trump winning, maybe 60%, but now feel it's relatively certain. Mostly because I finally bothered checking out what the polls were looking like on the state level. Everything is gradually trending more towards Trump and we even have Nate Bronze hedging his bets. There's also the crazed support Trump has with boomers and up who are a lot more reliable about voting than other groups, with them even trying for weird displays with those car parades, whereas Biden supporters have been so unenthusiastic that I haven't heard of anything similar being done by them.
Regardless, nothing is ever certain even if we want to tell ourselves otherwise. It'll be a shame if Biden does somehow win, but either way it's been a wild election season and along with really the entirety of the past five years. We've watched the whole political landscape turn into complete chaos, the media giving up any attempts at looking unbiased, it becoming trendy for nearly everyone to obsess over politics, and it becoming trendy for right wing boomers to see this as president material.
It's ridiculous, insane, funny, patriotic, and absolutely the Trump supporter aesthetic. This guy has left such an amazing and weird mark on history. Just consider how we're going to have children reading history books in the future containing Trump's tweets (given he's the first to really grab a nation by the balls via social media). He's shown how a jokey New York liberal could dominate in politics with a smile, which is something I can't see happening again in my lifetime.
Though finally I will say, if Trump does lose then I hope he does another season of the Apprentice.

Me too, my dad and a bunch of other people who have been 100% apolitical their entire life are now super vocal. Not so much because of trump, but because of all the ridiculous 24/7 anti-trump stuff. Up until now I've never heard them care about politics at all. Now I got family yelling at the tv when a sportsball man cries about blm, buying guns due to the riots, boycotting brands, and a bunch of other surprising stuff. I think the other side has unknowingly kicked the boomer hive. I personally never bothered to vote but have been annoyed so much by trump derangement people that I did it out of spite.
