I just saw this announcement and had to be here to see if Chris reacted and lo and behold, its what I expected. Nothing but hilarity. Chris needs to learn that no one at Sega gives a crap about his actions or stress. It made money so they can do whatever they want with it.

Overall I'm amazed Chris still thinks demanding retailers to not stock the game is going to work. Is it his ego thinking "If I, the great Christine Weston Chandler make a demand, then surely the people must adhere"? Or is it just his perception of reality being so fucked up he actually thinks this is a reasonable scenario?

I think it's pretty clear it's killing him that he can't, but he'll probably see his light/no sentence as a carte blanche to try it again.

This makes me hope the Sonic Boom designs become the permanent design for all Sonic games and merchandise even in the main series. I realize now Chris is never going to get over anything he has ever perceived as a slight towards him. Might as well at least laugh while he freaks out about it. Could you imagine if there were no more tan-arms Sonic in anything? Oh my...

Supposedly he didn't know that going around macing people on a whim was against the law, so he'll probably avoid doing that in the future. Considering he's banned from Wal-Mart, GameStop and possibly Target, however, a more likely scenario is that his luck runs out and he finally gets slapped with a trespassing charge.

Also, why does he think trolls, hackers, etc will apply enough pressure to force SEGA to back down, when the last thing Chris himself would ever willingly admit to would be the coercive effects that trolling has had on his activities in the past.
