Any money spent on professional head shots would be better-spent on food, vacations and cheap garbage from China for the Tech Time channel.
It wouldn't even have to be done by a professional. Most normal humans could do it on a fucking phone with the right lighting. There are even photo editing apps to help out her unfortunate looks. Ask any catfishing deathfat.
Lazy.

I don’t get the impression he has ever eaten actual good food in his entire life.

I'm sure he has, but his olfactory sense has been trash even before he started Youtube.
People in his church do know how to cook (Charles is a good example), so there is almost no chance that he didn't eat some good southern home cookin' after he moved to TN.
I wonder if he actually thought his year old freezer burned chili was better than the other chilis in the competition (unlikely unless they served mush straight out of the dumpster) or if it was just narcissism on display.

If Jack wasn’t such a turdbag I’d feel a little sorry for him. For all the food he stuffs himself with, I don’t get the impression he has ever eaten actual good food in his entire life.

This is a man who thinks Party Cheese Salad is edible. He doesn’t know what good food is and he doesn’t care. His only concern is how large the portions are.

You find them in specialty shops. I think I've seen them once or twice in stores.
Fresh bay leaves are easy to find in supermarkets in my area, but that might be because we have a fairly large Indian (dot) population. Sounds like they aren’t that easy to come by in other areas.

Indians use them in combination with other spices powerful enough that they don't overwhelm the dish. Dry bay leaves bring out the flavor in more subtly savory dishes. You really wouldn't want to use fresh bay leaves in, for instance, a plain old meat and potatoes pot roast.

Blowing up? Really???

If 1500 views is blowing up, channels like the Babish Culinary Universe better simmer down

That might explain it. While I'm always in the Chinese supermarkets I'm rarely in the Indian ones. I think they only times I've ever seen fresh bay leaves was in a Whole Foods and once more in some little ethnic store downtown.

Is he referring to his stroke and subsequent failure to do physical therapy to regain use of his arm/hand as "the accident?"
