I say this as someone that bought the Ace Attorney and Senran Kagure dvds from them. My ears wanted to commit suicide after hearing only a tiny bit of it.

Maybe I've only had the misfortune of hearing Funimation's work, but I feel like all English dubs are done by the same pool of five people who have the same 5-6 character voices, and they all have the collective acting skills of a fifth grade class play.

Their DBZ dubs (Saiyan-majinbu saga) isn't too bad, in fact it's what I grew up with. I'm probably in the minority that thinks Goku's American voice is better than his japanese one.

Senran Kagura is just god awful. Imagine the worst porn actress you've ever seen. Now imagine that she got a voice acting gig and she's voicing all the women in that show until you look at the credits and realize they are all being done by completely different actors

Imagine being so full of yourself you think you have the right to overwrite other people's works and insert your own bullshit. If you were actually funny you'd be creating your own material, not translating someone else's.

Edit:
Something else I'd like to bring up is that the anime and manga industry is already full of female mangakas, writers, artists, directors, VAs, etc. But all of these women are in the industry because of their own talent, not by leaching off of the talent of others' works who they're suppose to be translating.
