Ohhh! Looks pretty cool, man! I can see the final evolution being either a Fire/Ground or Fire/Steel type!Topaz Fire starter redesigns

Not gonna lie, I want these to actually be pokemonRemember Pokemon Reboot?
Turns out one of the artists, maumeart, is working on a region of his own: the Kyanos region.

Based off of Greece, this region's starters are the fire bull, Calfyre, the water cat Bublynx, and the grass toad Politad... Which totally doesn't read like something from the Poliwag line.

Your style is very cute, the first one is adorable. Much better than the original, its still a weird line though, not sure how fish turns into crab. The water starter now. This is a weird one.

First stage seems to be a fish....

Then the second stage is an eel or something...

And then the final is an armoured, crab like thing with a fish tail and fins.
I assume the way that Kaiju05 did it, is akin to the Dragonite line, a serpentine dragon turning into a bipedal dragon.Your style is very cute, the first one is adorable. Much better than the original, its still a weird line though, not sure how fish turns into crab.
I know this may be a stretch, but maybe it could be a reference to fish parasites? Like that one parasite that looks like a crab that cuts off the fish's tongue or whatever!Your style is very cute, the first one is adorable. Machop actually does have a tail, but it's definitely not that long.- Machop has a tail, huge head ridges, a much larger snout and absolutely no muscles.
It's a pretty stubby tail. For some reason, it disappears after evolution, which I find strange, in my opinion.Machop actually does have a tail, but it's definitely not that long.

I wouldn't say those head ridges are too big, but more that the head ridges are too slated on the sides. Makes the Machop look more like a Bagon.

I figured out it just gets smaller (or stays same size as body grows big) and gets tucked into underwear these got on.For some reason, it disappears after evolution, which I find strange, in my opinion.
Tail fetish? That's only reason I can think of, and furry artists do tend to overdraw/focus quite clearly on things that they generally find attractive, such as overly detailed paws or mouths for example. It's a pretty stubby tail. Unless this Machop in peculiar has a longer tail than others of his own kind (in some attempt to make him stand out?), his tail shouldn't be that long.

Their Marshstomp is also pretty wonky.
Well, shit. Now I'm just thinking of Machamp with a very tiny tail poking out of the back of his underwear.I figured out it just gets smaller (or stays same size as body grows big) and gets tucked into underwear these got on.
Now why Alakazam has no tail, ruining what could have been a progression to Kadabra's gorgeous silhoette, that is a question which bugs me still.
Let's see.
- Graveler has a generic smiley face, lacks hands and feet, and also lacks his head crest.
- Makuhita has defined legs, open eyes and a snout with nostrils
- Machop has a tail, huge head ridges, a much larger snout and absolutely no muscles.
Every Pokemon in that comic is off by degrees of magnitude.
Also, have more cringe

Weird thing is that the other mons aren't furry at all. It's like this one is a fursona. It's also a starter.
Oh come on, their designs are not that bad, but this isn't thread for this kind of discussion.Well, seeing the final evos of the gen 8 starters...

That thing wouldn't look out of place on an official game.
You forgot to mention that Makuhita is based off of a sumo, yet here it's much thinner than it's supposed to be. The snout also bothers me, it clearly has a flat face with no defined nose. It feels as if the artist has only looked at the Pokémon once or twice, and never again.Let's see.
