Personal anecdotes tell me that it's not true, because I live in a conservative area where people loudly declare how much they're pissed off at the Democrats' antics. From an objective standpoint, though, his approval rating is and has consistently been comparable to Obama except for the very beginning of Obama's presidency when people were super hyped and the very end when I suspect some kind of trickery was afoot to try to rig the election. Jimmy Carter and H.W. are the measuring stick for one-term presidencies. His approval rating is much higher than those were.

I think we can pretty safely say that among the majority of actual voters, the whole Russia scandal is a wash and always has been. The BLM riots also aren't going to do anything, as they did nothing during Obama's presidency either. That's why we're seeing them push Coronavirus so hard. If they can get the American people to take the bait and blame Trump for it, that will be the scandal that sinks him. However...his approval ratings don't show that people are doing that. Rather than getting angry at him, every time he had a coronavirus speech his approval rating jumped up. Rather than see him as a hypocrite or receiving karma for getting the virus, his ratings again jumped up when he got sick. And it has stayed about the same rating as it has been since he was elected, even now.

Basically, according to the least biased source we have, voters don't currently blame him for Coronavirus in any meaningful way. They have less than a month to convince voters Coronavirus is his Iranian hostage situation, or they're sunk. The fact that Nancy is pushing for a 25th amendment ruling tells me they don't think they can do it. Personally, I also doubt they can do it. Especially so because the candidate they're offering is so weak it relies entirely on the voters hating Trump so much they'd pick literally anyone else. His approval rating does not reflect that.

I actually do generally agree with you. My post was just outlining why its not as clear cut as you laid it out to be. I would focus on the swing states,though. Places that don't lean hard conservative or democrat and who might be more... amenable to the media narrative. Those places are where democrats are betting on the media sticking it.

  4. He blames a lot of his problems on Trump. In fact, you can just sum up Jay Inslee's entire talking points with "Trump, trump trump, trump. Orange man bad." He was acting like he was debating the President instead of the opponent before him.
Meanwhile, Loren Culp was the opposite of Jay Inslee. Cited truths, looked composed and had a really good debate performance.

As soon as the debate ended, a lot of the viewers said that Loren Culp won the debate because he talked about actual issues that Washington residents are facing. Loren Culp was sorta unknown before the debate, but now a lot of people have been introduced to him through this debate, and it seems like a lot of independents and a good amount of Democrats will be voting Culp.

Jay Inslee calling half of his state's residents "Trumpians" will come back to haunt him. He just pretty much galvanized the voters in the conservative parts of the state to come out in droves to vote against him. Hell, it would be greatly ironic if this also causes Trump to win Washington state through a reverse coattail effect of sorts, and that the sole reason for Trump's victory in WA will come down to Jay Inslee acting like a jackass during the debate.

Edit: Oh, and Jay Inslee does not apologize for his Trumpian remark either.

There's a Delaware governor's debate that will held on October 13, with Democrat incumbent John Carney vs. Republican nominee Julianne Murray.

And on October 14, there will be a North Carolina governor's debate between Democrat incumbent Roy Cooper vs. Republican nominee Dan Forest.
 
Culp would be a god send to Washington, but I just don't see it happening. We've been a mail in only election state for a long time, and there's constant fuckery in our elections going back 60 years. I've not even lived here all my life and I've seen a dozen recounts for local elections, and not a single fucking one has ever benefited the non-democrat party endorsed candidate. Pramila Jayapal hasn't showed up for her congressional district's debates for her last 2 election cycles and she still wins by a gigantic margin. Her campaign promise is that she was going to impeach Trump. That was about it. These dummies can't be rehabilitated because they're sheltered from anything resembling the real world. When they finally get sick of the needles and human shit, they'll move to their winter home in Phoenix and sell their Seattle property at a massive profit to someone with ties to the Chinese government (not sure why but they own a ton of property up here).

But now I got to wondering if its not out of the realm of possibility that some Dem connected organization is hiring people to push this "REGISTER TO VOTE (for our guy)" shit in every corner they can no matter how small or unimportant. I mean gee-wiz, guess having this shit plastered on every social media/entertainment app and website on the planet isn't enough.

Think that sort of thing has been done with movie marketing. Where they'd require you to do a certain number of posts on whatever forums you could to try and promote a film. If I remember or am hallucinating correctly they'd ask you to just record where all you went and posted and pay you based on the number of posts. Doing something on discord wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility then.

You know it's pathetic when the media has to try and protect Harris, (a woman,) from the evils of the big bad politicians, (i.e Republican men.) I remember the eighties and early nineties being a time where it seemed like a lot of disillusioned hippies were being rather up-front about being disillusioned, and it was because they realized that after all their years of fighting The Man, they had in fact become The Man. Apparently as the nineties went on, they and their successors decided that the solution for this disillusionment was simply to absolutely and utterly refuse to acknowledge that you had in fact become The Man and were the ones stepping all over The Little Guy.
