Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

The more important question is why is Joe spending multiple days in Pennsylvania if he is in fact leading by double digits?
No, the really important question is why he did a virtual campaign for Americans in Ireland. When I read that-- and I still can't get over it-- my opinion shifted from "the Biden campaign is internally panicking" and closer to "the Biden campaign is drunk and driving on cruise control".

The only game they know how to play is identity politics and being Irish is the closest thing to minority status Joe Biden can claim with a straight face. But it isn't the 1910's anymore and the Irish population has been so diluted throughout the greater white population that something like 30 presidents have been at least part Irish, Obama included. I don't think people really think of themselves as Irish Americans outside of a small subset of plastic paddies in the Northeast.

A mad lad, but polite

What the fuck?

And I am post to believe that this man is in the lead of this election.

On Friday, Joe Biden is going to Las Vegas, Nevada. If he is winning by a Reagan 84 landslide, why go there and not Texas or SC or AZ or NC or ect. to gain Senate seats?

I have an idea, but take it from the man himself.

Unironically, if Democrats refuse to turn out because he has a "12 point lead in polls!" I'm going to lose my shit.

That should tell you that Biden or rather his campaign staff, is panicing over the movement of major labor unions to Trump. That he is pushing and pandering the 'Irish Catholic" BS indicates he may have some concerns from Massachusetts all the way across the rust belt to Chicago.

Dems are going to lose because their idiot Governors have forced them to vote by mail. And a substantial portion of the Biden/Bernie voter base really does not know how to mail a letter. The Trump base does. But more importantly the Trump base takes voting in person as an act of faith. Whereas the Dem base will not be bothered to show up. Keep in mind that this weeks Supreme Court decision seems to imply that they will hold that election laws must be followed as written. And not changed on the fly by Executive Fiat. Which has a strong possibility of tossing most of those mail in ballots into the shredder.

Even with COVID, Biden really was the most jobber guy they could throw at Trump.

Irish Catholicism, really? Who does his team think he is? Al Smith?

That's if they even bother to send their mail ballot... Considering how VBM is going in a key state, like North Carolina for example...

Joe Biden Says 'Get Off Twitter' After Donald Trump's Tweet Tirade While Recovering From COVID (archive)

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden shared a GIF of him saying "get off Twitter" after his election rival President Donald Trump embarked on a signature mass-posting session on the social media platform.

The president shared more than 40 posts in the space of two hours, with a mixture of tweets and retweets, touching upon topics such a stimulus and dismissing allegations of Russian collusion with his 2016 campaign.

Following the raft of posts from Trump, Biden took to the platform to send a GIF of himself saying "get off Twitter," along with the message: "Please."

It appears to mark a continued dismissive tone towards Trump from Biden, with the Democrat having told him to "shut up" during last week's election debate.

Trump's stream of posts on Twitter came as he continues to be treated following his COVID-19 diagnosis.

He was taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for care and has since returned to the White House.

While at the medical facility, Trump still continued to tweet—at one point sharing more than a dozen posts in less than half an hour, many calling upon people to vote with varying reasons as to why.

Throughout his presidency, Trump has regularly used Twitter to share updates and to target adversaries.

Biden has oft been a target, who has in turn used Twitter to take shots at the president. And while Trump has amassed a greater following than Biden, the Democrat has done a better job at engaging the ones he has.

A post he shared where he approved a message from Trump saying supporters would never see him again if he lost the election was viewed more than 15 million times.

The pair have also clashed on other platforms, with a post shared on Biden's Facebook amid the debate last week calling Trump the worst president ever becoming his most popular status update of the year.

He also recently took to Twitter to criticize the president's call to end stimulus negotiations.

The pair's continued clashing comes amid speculation the next presidential debate could be scrapped, due to Trump having tested positive for COVID-19.

Trump has insisted he wants to debate Biden, though Biden and the mayor of Miami, where the event will be held, have said he should not attend if he continues to test positive.

Newsweek has contacted the Biden and Trump campaigns and the White House for comment on Biden's "get off Twitter" tweet.
tl;dr: Biden wants Twitter's stocks to plummet.

In case nobody has figured it out, Biden is campaigning like it's the 1980's or early 90's. Back when the Irish ruled the labor unions. When a white guy to say racist things and not be gigged for it. Back when sniffing young girls hair was just part of the normal slapping of flesh of the political campaign.

For once the senile dude does has a point.

Everyone should get off twitter.

I never understand how it got off the ground to begin with. A platform whose main selling point was that it was more limited than existing forms of communication.

I'm surprised no one has started telling people on the left to stay home to avoid risking getting COVID. After all, Joe's +20 on Trump and has like a 98% chance. It's already over.

I doubt that they have to tell people on the left to stay home. Most people hysterical over the virus are firmly on the left, and Sleepy Joe is too unexciting and uninspiring for them to risk contracting le coof.

Imagine if Biden actually does win by a 16 point margin. Trump supporters at least get to shrug their shoulders and go ''huh, guess the media were right for once''.
I'm sure there's a couple die-hard Biden supporters who also think Biden getting 60% of the vote is secure... but I dunno how many.
Imagine being one of those Biden supporters though. These polls, if anything, are a tremendous health hazard. You're gonna see those people self-harming or worse if Trump wins and THAT was their serious expectations for election night.
I get it, the polls are lying. Everybody kinda knows it, the devil is to what degree they're incorrect, but honestly they don't seem to suppress Republican turnout. If anything the current stats are reinforcing the Trump vs. Establishment narrative most of the GOP hold. Meanwhile, I think the media are inadvertantly setting their own side up for an IMMENSE blackpilling. What do you expect a TDS sufferer to do if they see the polls to tilt even harder in their favour than they did in 2016 and come November STILL lose.
That's honestly a more horrifying prospect to me than being told you'll lose non-stop for a year and going SurprisedPikachu.png afterwards. TDS sufferers will get 0 heads-up on this because they inhabit a media bubble, and by habit too (not choice).
