This is a surprise, but also not at all with covid being around for over 6 months now. I found out about it by seeing a "lol hope he dies" post on social media.

My mom is going to have a field day with this news. Shit...

Months ago my my dad gleefully said "I hope [republican politician he hates] gets covid." I told him that it's pretty terrible to wish a disease on someone but he told me he didn't care. He'll probably have a field day tomorrow morning. I still think it's dumb. I honestly hope he survives. Wanting anyone dead isn't my thing, not that I even want to wish Trump dead.

We simply have to wait and see. There's so much speculation we can repeat but it's up to his body and the medical care he gets. There's two weeks until the next presidential debate. A lot can happen betwenn now and then.

Edit: Don't forget that the FLOTUS has it too. She's younger and seems fairly healthy so hopefully she'll be fine as well.

I honestly don't think this will affect either candidate's chances. No one is going to decide to vote for Trump just because he got the 'rona.

I'd be surprised if Biden doesn't have it. Considering that Trump and Biden were close during the debate.

They were on opposite ends of the room and purposefully didn't shake hands. We also don't even know when Trump got it, it could have been yesterday. There's a decent chance that Biden has it, but I'd say an over 50% chance that he doesn't.

Covid is bad when it's not treated at time. All those people who died at first died because we really didn't know what to do with them or how to save them. Now we know what to do exactly before the disease spreads to certain parts of the body, the % of death is going down even in fucked up countries like mine. Trump will be given hidrox. and will be monitored (hah) constantly. he's gonna be fine and he will recover in time. Albeit, he's gonna be probably a bit tired out.

Yes, I'm aware that even with all the care of the world, some people are dying, but I doubt this is gonna be the case for him.
