Sad thing is, he always finds a way to play the victim, whether it's with the art, or his general "opinions" on everything else. By this point, there's nothing anyone can do except sit back and laugh at Dobsy's utter stupidity.
I think in the actual game she left her husband because she was bored with his lifestyle and missed being a bandit. Its never even implied that he was ever abusive or controling, in fact its pretty obvious that he loves her deeply since he attempted to infiltrate a castle full of violent bandits while barely armed because he believes she's being held prisoner there.I guess Dobby just substituted the actual story with his own for the sake of having her fall in lesbians with his character.
