I kinda agree, kinda disagree. MLP has always been a mixture of episodic and serialized stories. The very first episode is about the ponies meeting, and the second is about them being invited to a gala. Throughout season 1, there are multiple episodes about them getting ready for the gala, and in the season finale, they finally attend it. Later seasons follow a similar trend where there's a continuous story (sometimes multiple) with episodic stories in between.

Yeah, I get that. My point was that MLP's continuity is a neat detail to thread episodes together, but I'd still consider the show "episodic" since each episode can still hold up on it's own merits. "The Ticket Master" is about Twilight's struggle trying to choose which friend she should go to a party with. "Suited for Success" is about Rarity trying to design her friends the perfect dresses for a party. "The Best Night Ever" is about the main cast going to a big party they had high hopes for and everything going horribly wrong. If you didn't know these episodes were all about the same party, how much would you be confused if you watched one but not the other two?

Okay, enough horse talk. What's important here is that the average Enterbot's idea of "serialization" is so basic that the term has lost all meaning almost a decade ago, to the point where they'll consider any show with continuity and lasting consequences to be "serialized."

Okay, I have some more free time for a while.

Basically for a history recap, I was a fan of Enter as a kid, or early teen. I liked cartoons, felt animation didn't get enough credit, saw a guy talking about them, and liked it. I was a very easy to amuze child. More recently my interest had been waning in cartoon reviewers in general. I began noticing how many of them aren't that good, and with Enter I pretty much stopped around last year or so. Nick-o-rama was what made me give up entirely. Seriously, you can't review more than 2 episodes of a single cartoon?

About Growing Around, I always thought it was a weird premise for a show. I thought the initial characters looked fine, but hadn't heard much from that until the Indiegogo. I knew it was going to fail, but I decided to be open and check out things about it. The scripts were very rough with typos and an unfriendly reading format, but I thought they could still be salvaged. I felt just making the kids normal kids and having the adults be adults would make the universe less creepy while keeping the characters the same, but Enter doesn't think the same.

Upon my return to his server I decided I'd just hang out there. I knew from a skim of his most recent videos, reading a bit of this thread (thanks for linking it in the video Enter) and the Twitter drama that he was not mentally in a good place. I wanted to see what was going on, and since his server blocked non-citizens from seeing the actual stuff, I became one again. I wasn't going to make any more joke foot fetish stuff (I honestly didn't want to draw a 7-year-old cartoon girl at first, but she was the main character, so I thought it'd get a reaction), I was just there for the ride. In reality, I should consider myself lucky since Enter answered my questions. I knew as early as the first Growing Around streams that he often ignored questions with that Ummm... stuff.

About 4 days later, I'm blocked out of nowhere. I was just giving Enter questions, and he was answering them. Everything seemed okay, but then my laptop flashed and I was quicked to the direct message menu on Dicsord. At first, I thought it was an internet problem, but then I noticed the other apps on my laptop working fine. Once I saw the icon gone I knew what happened. I had no idea that it was Ava though. I didn't even know she was looking at that channel. She hadn't said anything. I thought it was MintKitten, since she's so painfully sensitive.

Immediately after is when I had that conversation with PlazmaCube. He was just an unlikeable person. At first I thought he would be a reasonable opposite to MintKitten, but he was almost as bad. He didn't have a freak out, but he talked down to me like I was a child. I guess that's a trait he developed from Enter, who does that all the time in his videos.

All but like two of the mods come off as heavy SJWs to me, and the annoying type who are sensitive to every little thing. I don't know why Enter lets these people run his Growing Around server. MintKitten threatened things like suicide over us having a conversation about headcanons. Headcanons. That thing that literally affects nobody else but yourself. And PlazmaCube just defended her to the end. I wasn't angry when the ban happened, I was just confused. I felt like I had done nothing wrong. Could I have called Riley a they? I guess, but when did it become a crime to call a character who doesn't even exist what they look like.

I tried to direct message Ava for further reasoning on her banning me. After all, better to hear straight from the horse's mouth. She either has me blocked or can't receive direct messages unless you're friends with her. The same goes for MintKitten. The same might go for Plazma, but he sent me a friend request, so I don't know.

It's very short, but this is what Ava said to me during the fetish incident:

If Enter's reading this, my man, you need a better staff. All of you are so sensitive to things. You're sensitive to masks, Ava is sensitive to everything involving gender and race, and MintKitten is a polite comment away from taking her life. You're never going to make any progress if you're complaining every moment.

Hello, those here. I am Muhammed al-Omari (not real name, of course) from the server. I just wanted to explain some things.

For reference, I was the Keizer user who posted that fetish art in his server. That was just meant as a joke to see how Enter would react. I can elaborate later (about to do work now), but this is the conversation I had with PlazmaCube after the ban.

EDIT: Weird upload first time.
How long until PlazmaCube gets instabanned for not respecting MintKitten's decision to go by any pronoun?

I forgot Mint was genderspecial to be honest. I thought Mint was a guy and a ftm tranny, since most dudes become ftm trannies instead of genderspecials. Ftm trannies are seen as traitors, so chicks generally become non-binary genderspecials. I should've known.

Either way she's got serious problems and needs to spend time off the internet, far away from all the terrible influences. Maybe her parents agree and that's why Enter is the most supportive person in her life.

Kudos for bringing some good info and shedding some light on past info, feel free to stick around and make fun of Enter with us all

And the conversation I had with MintKitten on how to get in:

EDIT: Weird upload first time.

Thanks for the information. Much appreciated.

Now that we have some more context, PlazmaCube guy doesn't make any sense.
"I am glad you realised your mistakes, and you have become more informed."
[Immediately after]
"Because you refuse to admit your mistake, I'm afraid this this means that your banning will be permanent and you cannot come back anymore."

It's like, dude, at the end of the day the guy apologised for two of the three things that happened. The one he didn't apologise for wasn't even his fault; he didn't even do anything bad. Just to remind you guys how the actual conversation went again:

Even the one who asked the question, while he related to MintKitten, agreed with al-Omari that the conversation wasn't getting heated at all. How was al-Omari even being disrespectful in this context? He made a single comment, and before this point, he was more or less talking normally with the others in the server.

I am wondering if Mint is either this mentally ill that she commits suicide at the drop of the hat or they are bullshitting for sympathy points. Either way shows that Enter is a dumbass for picking a mod team this mentally unstable.

If Minty threatens suicide, by the rules you must abide.
If the man is innocent, "fuck you ban is permanent".

- The mantra of Enter's mods, probably.

True... but how many "Simpsons" episodes don't have the Simpsons in them? How many "Hey Arnold" episodes don't have Arnold in them? Even if your main characters aren't always the main focus, they should still play a significant role in most episodes. Whenever "Growing Around" focuses on a side character, it's like the Dunns don't even exist.

I remember watching the SpongeBob episode "Whale of a Birthday" as a kid, thinking SpongeBob himself wouldn't be in the episode at all, and that it would focus entirely on Pearl and Mr. Krabs. But then Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob to go and buy Pearl some presents. So yeah, it's fair to say that SpongeBob is at least in every episode, even when he's not the main focus. How Enter fails to grasp this is beyond me.

Oh yeah... autism. Focusing on only one thing at a time. Just... fuck autistic people, seriously.

Bullshitting for sympathy points. But also for shutting down anything and everything she hates, or doesn't want to talk about, and especially any time she gets mad or someone disagrees with her.

And even then:
1. Mr. Krabs is still an important Spongebob character. This is more like the episodes of Growing Around that focus on Max.
2. Spongebob episodes focusing on side characters are the exception, not the norm. Such episodes are practically the majority in Growing Around.
3. Whale of a Birthday is a relatively minor episode that doesn't effect the show as a whole. Growing Around has episodes like "Hard Time Out", which is crucial to the series lore as it introduces the audience to the prison system, and Enter couldn't even include Sally - the fucking star of the show - in the process.

You forgot 4: Episodes of Spongebob are generally two 11-minute shorts combined into one 22-minute episode, so if someone doesn’t like one short, they either just watched or are about to watch one with an entirely different plot. All of Enter’s episodes are supposed to be significantly over that 22-minute mark, and only involve one story each.

That first time she threatened suicide over the time Enter got exposed, I was a bit worried for her, but the fact she keeps constantly threatening it now just comes off as straight up manipulative... especially since it seems like she does it every time someone talks about something she don't like. And yet, Enter or his "mods" don't do anything about it.

Mr. Enter claims to be asexual with a traumatic past.

I think he was raped as a kid for years and didn’t know how to stop it because of being a kid with the autism factor added in.

I think his sissification obsession comes from a deep psychological part of him that feels like if he was a girl he would have not been raped when that is not the case at all, in fact he would have probably been raped even more.

Remember, Enter is the most supportive adult in MintKitten's (who is about 17 or older) life right now. I guess Enter feels some kind of responsibility over her and doesn't want to rid her. But even then, you don't have to get rid of her. You just need to tell her to keep her emotions in check, or at the very least temporarily suspend her from moderator status. If talking about something harmless like headcanons causes you to want to take your life, you are the last person who should be having power over other people.

Combined with Ava's annoyingly strict attitude with things like gender, PlazmaCube's pretentious attitude, Cerra's assholeness and Enter's extreme passive aggressiveness, that server sounds like the worst place to hang out in. When someone like MintKitten can just force a conversation to end (with a subsequent factor for banning you) even though you were following the rules and everyone was chill, what's the point of being in the server for an Enter fan?

Apparently having feet more than a couple times in your art is suspect but Enter can have as many boys in dresses to his heart's content and nobody in his clique will question it.

What are you talking about? When Enter incorporates his fetish into his scripts and art, he does it the right way. How could you forget that?

Seriously though, I wish somebody pointed out that hypocrisy to Enter in the server. I would've loved to see his reaction. Almost every day a drawing of the characters in a genderbent form or boys in a dress is posted. But two drawings involving feet? Scandalous.

I still find humour in that Ava was the one who admitted being uncomfortable with the foot fetish art. Enter was accepting of it completely until others in the server decided to complain.

Who would want to rape a whiny, autistic boy who gets depressed over fictional ponies saying mean things for an episode? Young Enter would be anti-paedophile bait.

I think his obsession for this stuff comes from just a form of strong bias to girl characters. Enter remarked in one of his DeviantArt journals that he could write more for girls in Growing Around because "they can do more." Since he inherently likes writing for girl characters more than boy characters, he tries to sissy up every boy character he can to keep himself satisfied. Or he just ignores them outright so he can keep focusing on the girls. I'm thinking back to that poor Ace Attorney parody episode he wrote (Turnabout something), where I can only recall two boy characters that had any impact on the story. And one of them barely affected it at all.

Plus, he almost never talks about the boy characters. I've only heard him talk about Max in relation to the pilot episode. Every other time, it's Sally, April, Talula or some other character nobody can recall. Remember Robert? The main bear-looking father character who does absolutely nothing.

Has he done anything for the main family?

Well, he writes for Sally and Max, but the parents rarely have anything to do. And as mentioned earlier, it's easy to forget that he writes for Sally and Max when so many of the episodes don't star them in any way. I mentioned that Ace Attorney episode he wrote. That thing is a two-parter (48 minutes) and not a single Dunn appears.
