Crime Fort Hood Military base killings 2020

The family of a missing Fort Hood, Texas, soldier named Vanessa Guillen is pleading for help after one month with no answers. The 20-year-old US Army soldier's mom, Gloria Guillen, is pleading for the public to help her find her missing daughter, who has not been seen since April, when she was working at the Fort Hood military base in Texas.

Vanessa's family is urging the public to sign petitions, speak out, and join their search parties, and they are concerned about the soldier's well-being after her mom says her daughter claimed she was being sexually harassed inside the military base by a sergeant. She also said someone from inside the base told her that her daughter had been "kidnapped." Tom Rheinlander, the spokesperson for Fort Hood, released a statement about Vanessa's disappearance and said the Army is doing its own investigation and search by sending 500 soldiers from the 3rd Cavalry Regiment to search for her on foot in and around the area.

Vanessa was last seen on April 22.
It's been more than a month since Vanessa was seen or heard from. The Stars and Stripes newspaper reported that an investigation done by Fort Hood officials and an Army Criminal Investigation Command, known as CID, revealed that the 20-year-old was last seen at 1 p.m. on April 22 in the parking lot of the Regimental Engineer Squadron Headquarters for the 3rd Cavalry Regiment at the base. Vanessa's car keys, the keys to her room, her identification card, and wallet were later found in the armory room where she was working earlier that day.

Her mom shared the details of the phone call she had with her daughter.
Her mom tearfully shared the story of a phone call she said she had with her daughter prior to her disappearance in which Vanessa claimed she was being harassed by one of the sergeants at the military base. Her mom told her to report him. "Mom, others have reported him but they don't believe them," the mom claims her daughter said, and then asked her not to get involved for fear that she would be retaliated against.

The mom shared a conversation she had with a sergeant about her daughter's disappearance. "A sergeant talked to me anonymously, and I can't say his name because he said 'If you say it, they'll kill me.' He said, 'They kidnapped your daughter inside. And the corruption is horrible and there's tunnels.'" She is asking for this situation to be investigated and is looking for a lawyer to help their case.

The family and members of the community have taken matters into their own hands and have launched their own search parties. More than 60 family members and friends came together at Miller Springs Park in Temple, Texas, to search for her on May 30. "I am hoping we can cross a big area off the map. It's a huge area we need to search," Vanessa's older sister, Mayra Guillen, told 6News at the gathering. "I feel that she is still with all of us, and that hopefully someone confesses," the sister said. "Or we can somehow find her ourselves before the authorities because its been over a month we need to keep pushing."
She added, "We aren't going to stay quiet. For as long as this goes on we are going to keep it going."

Hanging oneself from a tree seems like the most cliched, anachronistic and deliberate way possible of deleting yourself. Want to end it all quick and easy? Suck-start a shotgun or Roll Safe with your favorite semi-auto. Slit wrists in the bathtub maximizes the drama while still bringing a quick death. Even if you're gonna go out of in a blaze of auto-erotic asphyxiation glory, you're more likely to do that in the privacy of your own from a light fixture or a sturdy joist.

Finding a sturdy branch to throw a rope around seems like a lot of work for a feeling that's usually transitory. Whenever I hear of someone offing themselves via tree hanging, I usually assume they got murked elsewhere and this was how the perps tried to cover it up.
In a real, execution-style hanging, you have to have a well-tied noose with multiple loops, placed just behind the ear, and a straight drop of at least five feet. The whole point of the technique is to break the neck for an instantaneous death. Most suicidal hangings just produce a slow, excruciating death from strangulation.

Could some of these happenings be gang-related? Infiltration of the military by organised criminals is a distinct possibility.

Seems like the army needs a war to occupy themselves with so they don't implode targetting eachother.

Since it looks like we won't get a proper german-engineered war, I guess we have to settle for a cheap chinese offbrand version.

Like I said in the other Fort Hood thread, there's gotta be sex-slave ring going on there.

There is some organised practice of sexual abuse. People don’t just coincidentally report a bunch of rapes and then a bunch of human remains show up. Not at a site where entry is controlled. I don’t know what the fuck is happening there, but it’s nothing good and I trust the Army is already working to get to the bottom of the issues and stop it happening.

The military has a long and sordid history of sexual assault, rape, and closeted gayness. This doesn't surprise me at all. Guy/Girl who reports their superior for whatever usually get either shut down immediately from the brass, scared into shutting up and taking a settlement, or they are discredited and discharged or disposed of in other ways.

Remember not too long ago there was that woman who "shot herself" in a tent on a Middle Eastern base? Same fucking deal most likely. Officer/Noncom tries to fuck woman, she says no and fights back, gets shot, scene is staged. This shit needs to be investigated by a third party, but I realize that probably won't happen. Or if it does, the third party will not be objective in any way.

It's possible this guy hung himself just from depression, because suicide is another huge issue in the military, but something about this doesn't sit right with me.

Pvt. Corlton L. Chee died Tuesday, five days after collapsing during a training exercise, Fort Hood said.
(CNN)The Navajo Nation says it's "deeply disturbed" by a recent series of deaths at Fort Hood, Texas, after learning one of its own died earlier this week.
Pvt. Corlton Chee of Pinehill, New Mexico, collapsed during a training exercise on August 28, according to a statement from Fort Hood, and died on September 2.
The incident is under investigation, the statement said.
"We are deeply disturbed by the string of deaths at Fort Hood, and if there is any malfeasance or negligence involved, the Navajo Nation calls on our national leaders to purse every available avenue to protect the lives of our Navajo warriors and those serving in the U.S. Armed Forces," Navajo Nation speaker Seth Damon said in a statement Friday.
Fort Hood said Chee's awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon.
"When we lose just one of our honorable warriors, the entire Nation feels that pain," Navajo Nation Council Delegate Jamie Henio said.
Chee's death is the latest of several linked to Fort Hood, which houses 36,500 soldiers.

They didn't care before and they probably couldn't tell you the names of the other decedents but they're very concerned now.

There's been a couple of threads detailing the other deaths in a&h before this, maybe it would it be a good idea to have one large "mysterious deaths in military base" thread in happenings, in case shit may one day actually hit the fan, we can gawk at it all.

A timeline would be interesting to look at, at least.
