It may come as a shock to you, but that decision will be made by everyone, several times in life as you get older, for friends and family. It's nothing that is hard to live with. If you have unresolved issues with the person, then sure, it could be something, but if you had a healthy relationship and really good connection with the person, that last day visit shit is just feelgood stuff for the person who isn't dying. I know I won't want my brother or sisters around on my last day, and they wouldn't want me around on theirs. We have nothing to resolve and our sibling relationships don't need that sort of thing. All of us would rather spend the last day with our spouses and children, and MAYBE grandchildren.
And everyone would go to sleep that night knowing that's how the person would have preferred it. Trying to shame Orangemanbad for it is beyond silly.

For the first item, all I remember is the Lincoln Project is basically a one man assmad crusade by a dude with a confederate cooler. Basically a less glowy Richard Spencer, including the rampant homosexuality since he openly is shilling for Biden rather than a protest vote like Lincoln's corpse or something.
The second one infuriates me as a history man and who has family in the services. Indian Wars were not a 300 year conflict of eternal gay war like Mike "Chickenshit" Boot masturbates to and wants to send others to die in. It was usually just a whole lot of nothing interspersed with low level conflicts due to the dozens of tribes eventually getting pissed over us taking the best land or traditional spots they'd hang. Every now and again you got a confederation or a dude like Tecumseh who will spring up that merits an army response.
Utter load of shit on this one and just proof the man is a chickenhawk who'd cry tears and run if he got drafted.

There’s also this “holy shit he’s the president” thing where he can’t just go to 7-11 down the street whenever he wants. Everywhere he wants to go has to be inspected, cleared, and secured. Visiting the hospital would be hugely disruptive to surgeries, consultations, even janitorial cleaning going on there.
His brother had been sick for a while and he had plenty of time to come to peace with what that means. Don’t forget he’s also the oldest president we’ve ever had, being one year older than Reagan was when he took office.
