If the Democrats were doing it on the principle of "We think Church and State should be separate" that would be one thing.

They aren't doing that though, they are doing it as a Thumb in the eye of Christians, if The Brotherfucker were to have gone to the DNC Convention stream and do the pledge and replace "Under God" with "Under Allah" in the pledge the same people who REEE about "Under God" would absolutely go ape shit calling her "SO BRAVE AND WONDERFUL OMG"

Yeah this. I for one would be perfectly okay with them taking "under god" out of the pledge and "in god we trust" off of the money, if it was being done out of honest desire for a secular government. But democrats don't care about that principle just like they don't care about any other principle or value they used to claim to believe in. The dems now only care about power, they had a priest or two at the DNC, they're perfectly okay with religion in government if it serves whatever their supposed "cause" is today.

Its also telling that the side who loves to invoke "Separation of Church and State! REEEE!!!" over even the slightest implication that the US might be a majority Christian nation with a foundation based on Christian values loves to turn around and throw "Darwinian" as an insult to economic/social policies that they don't like.
