He can't handle a comment. The 3d comment got him assburned and he wouldn't even discuss it with her. First off, why would it bother him? It sounds like an innocent comment and like she was just trying to talk about his work. So insecure about his work (he should be because it is really subpar especially for someone who went to art school).
Then we get the family interactions. He would go to these parties her family held specifically to include him and would essentially sulk in a corner not speaking to anyone. He's not grateful, he doesn't try, it's all just woe is me bullshit.

What I really notice is that he says it's hard to change his style after 15 years. Hell, my style isn't the same as 5 years ago. That's stagnation for ya.
Amazing, simply amazing. "I was anime fan before anyone else ever was and then people were dicks about my favorite anime, so now I don't watch anime any longer." It's like Dobson was so fucking immature that he punishes himself for other's behaviour and then thinks that will show them somehow. Like in a "See what you made me do? I hope you're happy now!"-kind of way, where he thinks it somehow makes the others feel bad or something. I, myself, got into anime roughly 15 years ago and most of my friends really disliked it and made fun of it. I'm still friends with these people today cause I found other things to enjoy with them. I think Dobson made a comic about how people mocked an anime at some sort of club-movie night, but I can't be arsed to look it up, tbh.
Let's just say, Dobson seems like a really shallow anime-enthusiast, looking at the things he listed, these aren't bad, but it's a bit bland and generic. It's weird to claim he was a huge anime fan and the only anime he conjures up are such mainstream titles. At least Patreon/DA artists like Tracy Butler (Lackadaisy) and sakimichan put real effort into their work, they enjoy what they draw, and they are not rude or condescending to their fans. And their art is excellent.
I'd assume these watchers are just artifacts of the past. Like, someone enjoyed some images 5 years ago, Dobson got a "favorite" or "follower" and the people just eventually moved on... Or is he pulling in so many people per artwork now? If so, I wonder why he can only get like 2 dozen to pay for him on patreon... might be his toxic personality must be the trolls fault.
Something funny to keep in mind: the few people that actually care enough for Dobbers to try and help him by giving advice or pointing out mistakes and ultimately get shit on via twitter have a really good chance of being part of the few last patreon supporters. So basically, whenever Dobson is being a dick on twitter, he's playing russian roulette with his Patreon.

You can tell how much of a little whiny cunt he is. One comment, ONE FUCKING COMMENT, and he's sulking over it for hours. And I don't even get what's so bad about it in the first place. And of course, he's got to be a whiny little self-centered asshole that bitches and moans all along the way for no relateable reason. He's so stuck up about how he can't be a manchild at home that he's actually completely missing the stretched out hand of his gf's parents trying to make him part of their family... it's bizarre. That was he was second girlfriend, IIRC. He briefly had one after high school before college. The Jewish girlfriend was after his move to Minnesota and I don't think their relationship lasted long. Just by his tweets and other activities, he doesn't seem to have any non-fictional love interest or friends.
Maybe at one point Dobby was bearable to be around. Maybe his descent into full on asshole was gradual and it took a while for those around him to notice.
