There are a lot of girl streamers Ive seen that arent seen as thots. Some go out of their way to say or act in a way that they say they arent, but actually I feel like you have to go more out of your way to be seen as a thot, the way Pokimane is. That's also a lot of advertising and purposely being kind of thottish and seeking attention to be big and be noticed. The other thing is that sometimes that shit, especially for someone like Pokimane, I guess, is that its sometimes necessary to get an audience or a big one, and make money - at least as much as she does. If youre doing it for fun, it doesnt really matter, but I can understand why someone would also want a large audience to hang out with when streaming.
There are (ex-)porn stars streaming on twitch who arent seen as "gamer thots". People like to say the internet sees every woman as a thot--no, that's not the case. But people can see through thots if that's how theyre acting. You have to cultivate and harvest attention and make a living off of that in order to be a thot.

- Be good at the games you play. The better you are, the less you'll be seen as someone just doing it to attract simps and more because you're really passionate about X game.
- Dress accordingly. Casual clothing you'd wear to the mall or the movies works good enough. No need to go super conservative or uber whore.
- Act accordingly. If you're streaming for fun, then you have no reason to tailor to your viewers outside of your natural wit and charm. Just be yourself and you should be fine.
- Don't mod people based on how much they kiss your ample, round ass.
