Somewhat off topic, but Rocket League is going free to play.
I own it on multiple platforms and for awhile played constantly when not at work.
Is there a time Phil tried it and got his ass whipped thoroughly?
I imagine he would get pressured into it once when it is ftp.

You definitely have the right idea about how to bait the pigroach, because he probably wouldn't just flex, he would slip up and let it be known that his lawyer was of great help getting him through the behind the scenes meetings with Nancy where she questioned him about the microtransactions he was claiming as business expenses, further cementing that he is indeed a gacha fiend.

I can't really imagine that their groceries (even IF they get fresh produce and other things that should be refrigerized quickly) would be in much danger in the blistering daytime high in the mid-80s. Even the garage wouldn't be that worrisome. The overnight lows here are on par with his daytime highs this time of year, and that's not saying anything about how warm it gets in the daytime here. My garage doesn't get THAT unbearable in the summer.

But, based on what he says Khet makes...we know that all they buy are Hungry Man-tier microwave frozen shit, bottled water, and gin. Lots and lots of gin.

My thing is he woke up early to get groceries. He posted that at 9:45am his time, so that means he arrived home at 9:05 am. So let's say it took him an hour to shop at the grocery store and the commute there and back, that means he was at the store at 8:05 am. Now let's say he woke up 10 minutes before he left to the store, that means he woke up at 7:55 am. I don't believe he woke up at that time. It makes me believe that Khet went to the store and then told Phil to get the groceries but he was too lazy to do it right away. So A) Khet is not there like you suspect or B) Khet went shopping, was pissed that Phil didn't want to go and so made him get the groceries from the car.

B, Phil is still bringing in dosh nonetheless with his pity streams.

This isn't a defense of Phil, just an explanation of why it doesn't irk me quite as much: He makes $100k a year, but thanks to being a wasteful idiot, he doesn't actually have the kind of life that that affords. He may as well be earning half that. Or less.

He still shouldn't be crying poor, but the reason isn't his income, it's his spending habits. I don't make six figures, but I'm still in a waaaaaaaaay better spot than he is whenever something goes awry, because I'm not stupid with the money that I do earn (and I'm luckier than him, honestly).

No, the condemning thing to me is where that money goes, since we know what it is, and it's unbelievably fucking pathetic.

Totally understand what you're saying, I think the reason I want the question publicly asked to him is because then maybe his fans will start thinking about where that money goes. I agree that Phil is so shit with money he's not stashing it in a bank account and becoming rich, but the way he wastes money should make his paypigs feel like they're throwing their money away (Who am I kidding? they're doing it to own the trolls and make the monkey dance, they wouldn't care).

I don't know why everyone wants Nick to go on the offense for no reason. He's always been a "tough but fair" type of interviewer. If you're courteous enough to take time out of your day to go on his show he'll show you some respect in turn if you deserve it. But if you're an idiot he'll go hard on you like he did with Shane. Or if he feels you're a liar and there's something funny there he'll try and get it out of you, like the time he convinced TonkaSaw to let Andy Warski on the show which led them to scream at each other. Everyone was all pessimistic because of how slow it was until that point, but the payoff was amazing. Nick generally knows what he's doing and how to approach people for the best results

Well if he doesn't like being lied too and is good at sussing it out then maybe the stream will be interesting because all Phil knows how to do is lie. Still, I'm not optimistic enough to expect him to call Phil on his shit, hope I'm wrong.

He did and sucked as usual, I'm starting to think the only things he hasn't played yet are War Thunder and any of the Wargaming World of series.

Depends. A lot of them definitely know already that that Champions account is his, but other than the boot-licking mods, I doubt that many of them believe the full extent of his spending on that game, because the bigger the number they swallow as being plausible, the harder it is for even those retards to feel any sympathy for Phil when he talks about needing those tips really badly.

If he does it, he won't do it the way most people here would. You have to nail Phil in a way that he doesn't notice. Get him comfortable, give him chances to play the role he wants to play, and let his words spoken in smugness be what hang him.

If he does manage to play it, there is no doubt that he'll rage like crazy. Besides his poor driving skills, he'll also struggle online against players who have more skills and knowledge who will ruin his day. His chat won't be there to save him.

Because they enjoy watching the trainwreck. If you look in his chat very few of the regulars think he's at all entertaining or competent. Many of them even realize he's lying about, well, everything. But the 'tism vortex surrounding Phil (antagonizing us, whatever new dirt this thread digs up, him acting like a complete retard, the big-name Twitter detractors like Drgn and Rackets, you get the idea) is its own form of entertainment and they want to keep that going. Can't have a circus without a clown after all.

Personally I think it's just the usual Twitch autism of needing to feel important in a small circle of faceless losers. They don't have the money to simp as hard to the larger e-thots, but with Daddy Phil they only have to fork over $20 every now and then for him to shout their names and give them a stiffy. Phil and Wings have smaller communities too so it's easier to make yourself feel like a bigshot in them.

That's probably them trying to get notoriety through Phil. Any wheelchair who gives Phil a few hundred dollars all at once will definitely get noticed everywhere the 'tism vortex exists and might even get a friendly visit from Nigel. Giving to a bigger or more gracious streamer just won't have that kind of impact.

Obviously there's a difference between positive and negative attention but we call them wheelchairs for a reason.

If their goal is attention then there isn't a huge difference between giving to Smug Phil and Ebeggar Phil. Either way they get an insincere shout-out and some sort of pressure on the rest of chat to "step up".

I've been been playing since launch and though I wouldn't deliberately stream snipe him if I saw him I'd play my best game so he'd rage. If I ever see Twitch or other streamers in game I go full balls out since I have an audience.

This is why the only way in which Phil is legit lucky is the fact that at least he has the clown act. It is literally the only thing that stands between him and living with Ma and Pa Burnell until they're six feet under, after which he would be homeless.

I understand why that's no comfort to anyone who recognizes the absurdity of him even having so much as the clown act to rely upon, but never forget the fact that literally everything else about his life sucks. Even if he won the Lottery, it would have to be a gargantuan amount of money for him to not blow it all in a few years and go back to the clown act. Save the outrage for if/when he gets that kind of money.
