The Twitch DMCA Saga (Three Times Resilient!)

Y'ever notice about how seldom you hear about other, more amiable big streamers getting DMCA'd? Isn't that weird? And I mean, sure, you could say "well it's because they get the concierge treatment Phil is demanding" and, maybe, sure, but there's a few things about that.

1. Bonuses are for earners. Sorry that you're a part of a meritocratic industry, Phil, but you chose it (and benefitted from it greatly for years), and,
2. People like to do things for people who aren't assholes. Again, sorry, but that's just how the world works. Being a Karen only gets you so far. Smiling, being pleasant and saying please and thank you gets you much farther.

And you could also say that lesser-known streamers might get it too and we just don't know about it because they don't have the infamy, but y'know what else? That's still Phil's fault! He's worked for a decade on making sure that his reputation, however limited or widespread it may be, is a negative one. He's The Guy: a shitty asshole who jerked off on stream. Does he deserve getting DMCA'd? Legally? I don't think so.

In a karmic sense? Fuck 'em.
 
As with any Phil crisis, he's still standing at the end, maybe with some bonus tardbucks. But you have to look at the happy little nuggets of autism that we got:
- Total hypocrisy - He speculated that the doc was lying about not knowing why he was banned or it was prep for a lawsuit, and then it happens to him and we get a completely different take
- A meltdown stream - jowls on display, rocking and shaking like the mong he is, alternating between alpha god and crucified victim in minutes, vest leak of his Marty Mcfly vest (sucking any meager hype out of the vest celebration)... we havent got peak Phil like this in a while
- Admission that he is balding, which will be funny when he reenters denial for the next 10 months
- Reaching out to Rek-ee-etta like the simp he is
- The Big One - admission that he uses discord and has a mod discord (or at least direct contact with his mods). This was the lynch pin of the WWE Champions story. If you didnt believe it before, you should now. Further, it proves how badly he lies, because he has lied repeatedly about not knowing how to use it at all. Why was that even necessary?
- Potential future fun - I don't know what those gin tweets were last night, but if Twitch bodies him, or bends the knee to a massive parasite for no clear reason, it's a good laugh
- Possible Superhound fallout - I'm still of the opinion that Phil made arrangements with SH and SH turned on him. Phil has a history of working with spastics when he thinks they'll do his dirty work, like Sidella, Swagginz and our friend BSV, and then plays the victim when they sperg out and burn him. Maybe this will end SH's autism reign, maybe this will drive it up to some gold dust fucking with Phil. Either way, we might get a good time.

In conclusion: Phil is back with extra bank, but for a brief day the pig blew apart and it was a glorious ride.

EDIT: as a bonus, this might also fuck with prestream, bathroom breaks and his autistic stream structure, since he is paranoid about his cancer music and art. He's going to be completely unwatchable with dead air, or he's going to actually have to suffer and run a tighter stream.

- He just called Twitch ("the person who granted the claim"), and I quote, "an unprofessional moron".

- And he goes on by accusing them of having "bad customer support".

- Calls Twitch "unprofessional" again.

- Says that if he gets suspended again today, he will start up a stream on Youtube and "will talk about options leaving Twitch".

- "Everyone can stream on Twitch and have fun, except for me" (King of Suffering) (people get banned from Twitch on a daily basis, but hey, don't let that bother you)

- Accuses Twitch of breaking the law (hoooo boy, smart move)

- Calls Twitch "unprofessional" again, multiple times

I like how he complains about their customer support, their slow response, their refusal to respond during off hours.

But he also just called his fans customers, and yet he'll take days to check his email to look at their freely contributed fan art and emotes... nevermind their complaints or issues.

So... you're angry that Twitch follows the Burnell Productions business model, Phil? Did you try their hotmail?

It makes me chuckle thinking of that deer person catching wind of this and seeing Phil rant like a mad man and hitting the GTFO button.

Because it's Phil however he'll luck out and Phil will remind them of their father or some shit and he'll get complete immunity. The flags will be lowered at Twitch Headquarters for a day. Twitch awards him a diamond encrusted crown. Phil will say it's itchy and prefers wearing the cowboy hat but thanks anyway Twitch.
