I... wow. I was not expecting this at all. I mean, I guess the preview blank posted should've tipped me off but I never really made the connection.

I don't mean to make a big deal out of it, but man... it's just such a jarring change, you know? I'm so used to this character using a regular basketball for a weapon.

So how does it work, exactly? Is the ball completely made out of metal or does it just look that way? I'm guessing it still bounces just like a regular basketball, right?

Also: Neato, a trans character!
This question actually helped me frame the page later in this post, so thanks for that. And yeah, I was realizing after a good friend was looking at the comic and was noticing how Robee was a pretty one-dimensional character, so I wanted to challenge myself in making a not-SJW-mockery trans character. I mean, I already got a gay guy, couple of lesbians, a competent black guy that doesn't talk like he's the lost member on the Wu Tang clan, strong female characters, straight male characters that aren't douchebags...

...boggles the mind how some asshole dicking around with Crayola markers is having an easier time writing these characters when mega-giants like Marvel can't help but fall over themselves every time they introduce a gay character or give a black character a white character's hand-me-downs. That's not to pat myself on the back, that's just me saying it's not that fucking hard to do.

Also, happy B-day Trickie!!

I would like to reiterate that this is not just a damn fine Sonichu comic, but a damn fine comic. I would seriously buy a paper copy of this. It rewrites, deconstructs, and reimagines a whole mythos most of the world doesn't even know about. This is Ultimate Indie Comic stuff.

Also, Punchy and Blake FTW. I hope Bubbles doesn't leave Blake for Mr. Yawn or anything like that, though; considering CWCville, being with Blake is probably the safest and sanest place to be.
I can't be indie though. I don't dye my hair, I listen to gangsta rap and heavy metal, Ghost Rider, The new Warriors, and X-Force were some of my favorite comics growing up, I'm unapologetic about my being a hetero male, and horn-rim glasses annoy me. My mere presence alone in the indie circuit might cause half of the other indie "talents" to go run and hide in their hugboxes and play with bubbles...

...although that may not be a bad thing...

Anyway, while I ponder on how to upset the establishment and begin to write a cordial letter to Marvel to stop playing with their own balls, enjoy this page, which is, ironically, about playing with balls as well.

It really says something about Angelica when even Robee of all people is basically going "Okay, even I can tell something is seriously off with this person".

Good Lord, Angelica will just fuck anything won't she?
Well, she did have sex with Reginald, which was Chris' stand-in while he was in the Time Void. Very, very low standards.

Also, with Christine's recent Facebook post with Blachu, the ticking time bomb that is Blake is about to go off in a big way.

So much win in this page, it boggles my mind! How do you make Punchy so friggin' funny, man? I mean, he's just making a short statement on a commercial, I shouldn't find it THIS funny!

Merried's SAD-ball commercial was also all kinds of dope (I really hope MerriedxReldnalhc is still reading), it kind of gave me the same vibe as those ridculous advetisements from the Robocop movies. It's a really neat way of sneaking in some exposition and not being obnoxios about it.

Speaking of obnoxious: godbeardammit, Angelica, can't you stop being creepy for half a panel?! On the bright side, now I know what voice to read her text with:

Última edición:
Whheeee... okay, admittedly this one was kinda rushed together. Work is picking up so I haven't been able to camp out in my office and draw cartoon animals. Hopefully the next one is a bit more polished.... I mean, as polished as these things get.

You may laugh now, but with the new restrictions on fishing the tubshark population is going to skyrocket and then we'll all be in danger!

Damn, Bianca's only been here for four pages, and already she's gotten really high on my favourites list, bonus points for walloping Angelica into next tuesday! Freaky bitch, that one...
