She might not be able to start treatment until the beginning of next year, which would be the earliest she could get insurance. Everything until that point has to be paid of out of pocket, and she probably doesn't have enough money for that.

this woman is in such denial about her weight and all the health problems that come with it
any skin infection she had or health problem she always used the "skinny people get it also' argument but completely missing the fact that people in their like 60s or 70s get it because their immune system is weak
same shit here, part of me hopes this cancer shit is serious just to see how delusional she can still be when death is knocking at her door

Right. For the first time ever, she's going to do what a doctor says except if it means proactively trying to lose weight, as other doctors have told her.
Questionable. It may mean nothing other than she's a fatass with enlarged "noids" for reasons unrelated to cancer - opportunistic infection because she's a fatass, stress on her body because she's a fatass, etc. Or, it could mean her maybe cancer has spread to other areas of her body, which is when they would generally order up a PET, to see what lights p on the scan. My guess: she fat.
I think I may need medical help now, because my eyes rolled right out of my head.

Sorry if I'm late on this, but why does she refer to a birth control pill as an "estrogen/hormone situation" and imply that it makes it ~so hard~ to lose weight?
BC pills don't make women gain weight. Anyone can look this up; there's plenty of research about it. The pill making women gain weight such a retarded myth and I don't understand why it's such a pervasive one. I almost can't believe that ALR, as a woman, knows literally nothing about her own sexual reproductive health. That's amazing.

I’m sure everyone’s mom pronounces something wrong, but growing up you recognize the error and start pronouncing the word correctly. The fact that your meth-filled mom once said some shit during one of her constant meth highs doesn’t curse you to pronounce that shit the same way your whole life. Does Meth also say “importen”, “ordiment” and other shit like that Amber is too dumb to know how to articulate in her own mother tongue?
