I don't understand why love near always means hotdog in the donut to these twats, last time I read that book about decisions as a teen, there were two roads that had to do with love, the "selfish lust" road and the "selfless love" road.

I understand the desire for creating diverse characters, but man, what's the point if every character shares the same cool skintone/warm undertone as well as having the same body structure, mouths, and face? How is that any different from the people these artists claim aren't diverse enough? (Spoiler alert: It's not). What these people seem to fail to understand is that creating characters need to have some sort of appeal to be popular. And while you're entitled to what YOU think is cool, you can't force other people to like it nor will you be able to convince others to conform to your standards. Most people are going to always favor symmetry, proportions, structures the enhance the form of the figure, etc..Not generic blobs.

I don't know the lore behind this gay pony show but I'm still REALLY weirded out that this artist is constantly talking about the sexual habits of cartoon characters from a children's show. It's so fucking creepy and the fact that her work is on the front page of DA almost every day is gross.

I assume it's an evolution of the "self-harm asthetics" back when Emo was trending, but overtime tumblr started played straight with no self awareness of the unfortunate implications. Colorful bandaids are also childish so plastering a bunch on makes a character looks like a "precious baby UwU". Bonus points if the bandaid is some gender flag.

Considering how many of these characters look like their faces went through a paper shredder, when the artists add unnecessary lines in an attempt to copy JoJo, it only makes sense.
