OK man well I would love to be wrong about this. Even in the hospital he found ways to get online. Like obsessively. If Mommy takes away the phone he could buy another. It would take such an effort as mental hospital lockup, not regular hospital, to really force him offline. But if you consider that he's tried killing himself before, it isn't a stretch to consider that another attempt was made. If you really want to die, you can find a way. If there were no history of such attempts, I would be far more skeptical.

If he's in a mental hospital and his family is faking his death to get people to go away, that's not the worst thing that could happen. But that's optimistic IMHO.

He wasn't IN the hospital. It was down the street from him, and he used to walk over to pirate their wifi. He SHOULD have been in the hospital, no doubt, but it seemed his scrout-ass family couldn't be bothered to protect him from himself.
