Subtle?!? Insidious?? She's actually really fucking transparent. Her sexism isn't subtle at all.
It reminds me of the fallout after that "Walking for ten hours in New York" video came out. Someone pointed out that it was all black and latino men that were harassing her and said the producers were racist for excluding the white harassers. The producers back-peddled and claimed that the harassment from the white guys was more "Subtle" and less visible.

Yeah, so subtle you couldn't even tell it was there. Just like the invisible monsters that are TOTALLY THERE you just can't see them unless you know they're there.

How "problematic."

Sure, I'll consider you.

You seem to have no work experience outside of blogging, podcasting, and flitting between projects funded by your parents and others close to you. With your current company, you're busy using the company Twitter account to live-blog your brainfarts. You're a pathological liar, a hypocrite, obsessed with flying the freak flag in everything you do, and you're entirely useless.

Thank you for your interest in our company. We wish you all the best in your job search.

Incidentally, I work in tech. I work with a lot of women, and have trained/coached some of them myself. I took great pleasure in one woman moving to a high level tech position, because I coached her and I knew she was a great person who really knew her stuff - the same reason anyone else is in that team.

I can tell you that the main barriers to the industry are class and wealth. You're not getting far without a decent education, and that costs money. Class and money are the barrier - not some overplayed fear of vaginas. Of course it also helps to not be a mental case.

Edit: The best predictor of social achievement, and subsequent status, is the wealth of one's parents and their educational backgrounds. The effects of gender or race pale in comparison to these factors. SJWs seem drawn mostly from white middle-class backgrounds, and Wu comes from a particularly wealthy family. i.e. this is someone claiming to be a victim – a spokeswoman for the oppressed – yet she's substantially better-off than the majority of the US population - male and female alike. She received $200k from her parents, which is pretty rare. I paid for my first car, which was less than $500, and worked and borrowed when I was in college. She blew that money on a doodling business, when she could have used it for an education that would allow her to easily walk in to a good career in tech. Instead she harbours delusions of being a developer, and spends days and nights railing against imagined oppression. Wu, you are the privileged minority.

1. You wanna know what triggers me? (Sure you do) It's when brainless fuckwits like Wu and Butts and the rest of the Twitter hugbox use the term "Gamergate" to mean everyone that doesn't immediately fall to their knees and lick their feet. See, back when I was in junior high, there was a black kid named Eddie. Eddie was about a foot taller than everyone else and used it to his advantage, bullying other kids, myself included. Would it then be fair for to say, "All them black people are thugs?" Of course not, that would be absurd. Generalizing an entire group from one person is quintessential bigotry.

2. I'm offended that someone would actually say Frank Cho was related to Wu in some fashion. Frank Cho, while indeed excelling at cheesecake images, at least draws his female characters with more realistic, healthy proportions that Brianna does with her mantis-women.

Well it's not actually like that really, I get what you're saying but if the one black person you knew was a bully and you started to see most of them like that, it'd be bigotry, it'd be pretty unacceptable but it would be understandable in the sense that one could figure out why you're like that with ease.

Wu is the bigotry equivalent of confirmation bias. She decides some group of people are bad so if anyone ever does anything bad she immediately attributes it to them in order to "justify" it. If anyone rightfully talks down at her, they're obviously a man if someone rightfully thinks she's full of shit, they're a gamergater. Because she's decided they're bad so obviously anything bad that happens is their fault.

It's like Chris and dem dang dirty homos. It doesn't matter if this "bad" person is a black lesbian woman who's neutral or even anti GG, to Wu she's a man and a goobygooter solely because Wu hates those things and therefore all the "evil" in the world has to lead back to them in some way.

(Also, mentions of "healthy proportions" and "cheesecake" have already gotten me curious about this Frank Cho fella...)

Shades of the Greene County Conspiracy and Chris thinking that everything ties back to Snyder somehow.

Also, Frank Cho seems like a decent guy to me compared to Frank Wu:

Little off topic, but here are some examples of his more recent work.

Frank Cho has been drawing that type of art since forever and fan art/commissions are tolerated by the companies to an extent, since many artists use commissions to get extra cash as the lack of monetary security in comics. I don't get why TheMarySue decided that suddenly he was a unperson.

I've been reading Wu's and Dobby's twitter and from what I can understand it's because of this:
Which was in reference to a Spiderwoman cover that also upset them:
SPIDERWOMAN001Manara-06299-600x853.jpg

Frank Cho did however give the money he got from that Gwen commission to a domestic violence charity though: http://www.bleedingcool.com/2015/04...of-spider-gwen-art-to-house-of-ruth-maryland/

(Off topic but I find it interesting that SJW's find it perfectly acceptable to threaten him with violence now he's declared a pariah by the SJW hivemind:

Drawing a picture of a fictional character with a big ass = haram
Threatening said artist with violence = completely okay

I hate the Internet.

What's this? Hiring women in tech? Treating them like everyone else? Coming up with realistic explanations for barriers to entry in the field? Nice try, shitlord! Stop mansplaining!

If anyone should be offended by that comparison, it's Frank Cho. Unlike Frank Wu, he's never been accused of assaulting an actual woman.

So after Wu's latest goth meltdown and the even crazier sewage she's been spewing recently, how is it that she still has a following at all and isn't universally mocked?

She's competent enough to sound appealing out of context and without seeing her face-to-face. To quote Eddie Izzard, "And, as I say, 70% of how you look, 20% of how you sound, only 10% is what you say." Twitter all but eliminates that first element, which is key because Wu just - in general - looks like a mess. Her personal hygiene is questionable at best and it shows. She's not someone who visually instills her audience with confidence. So an audience whose main exposure to Wu's appearance comes in the form of a miniscule icon on their newsfeed is perfect.

As for how she sounds: Wu has at least learned to utilize buzz words and the 140 character limit cuts down on how much she can type at one time. I think said limit is one of her biggest assets because anything more prolonged than brief exposure to Wu automatically brings her validity into question. I doubt her followers are reading what she says, they just see the buzzwords and get a sense of urgency from her Tweets and it's enough to warrant the two seconds of their time to hit the "retweet" or "favorite" button. You can't say much of anything over Twitter, but you can come up with clickbait headlines that draw in the page views without having to attach an article to it.
