I don't know what to say 06/04/20 - "not at the beginning stage"

If you wait until you have cancer to start shopping for insurance you are an absolute cunt, no matter what the Obamacare rules are. You are just offloading all your costs onto everyone else without ever having contributed anything yourself.

Otoh, she's the weight of a small car and has cancer, so karma, I guess, and might as well enjoy it because we're going to pay for it.
Insurance carriers won't cover a preexisting condition, so since she's already been diagnosed, I don't know what she's going to do.

I don't say this lightly but I have zero sympathy and I wont say she deserves it but you reap what you sow. The world will be an undetectably better place when she's dead.

The video seemed genuine, but what doesn't make sense to me is how she spent the last 2 years vague-vlogging about symptoms, and it would take weeks of speculation for her to come out and say what was actually wrong. Usually after she would make several trips to a doctor/ER. However, now all of a sudden, she chooses to make a knee-jerk video about cancer? Why would she do that unless she was absolutely desperate for attention? If she starts being smug about her diagnosis and starts click-baiting, I am out. As always, I feel a little bit bad for her, but mostly skeptical of her motives.

God, that was rough to watch. Anything I can say about this was already said 28 pages ago but I'll say my piece anyway. She was warned to skip Torrid hauls and get health insurance, she was urged to find a PCP and stick with them instead of doctor shopping, and obscene amount of people have tried to give her advice on how to lose weight.

She haughtily flaunted her Torrid hauls saying she could easily afford them and health insurance, if she wanted. She flagrantly doctor shopped but none of them knew "what worked for her". She ate entire platters of shrimp and rotisserie chickens on camera while talking about how ObesetoBeast, Optavia and the weight loss doctor were just wrong about her.

She didn't just earn the bad ending, she was smug about it the whole time. I feel as bad for her as I do anyone else with cancer, cancer sucks ass and no one needs that shit in their life, but to say she didn't earn it? Gorl here's your trophy for being the smuggest cunt to ever ignore her health when too many people tried to help you.

@Pargon said it best - Witholding sympathy pending proof

That said, should it be cancer, I hope everyone of her asspatters in her comments, from the feeders to the fellow fatties, go fuck themselves. They played a part in why Amber didn't take weightloss seriously.

While the "haydurs" were trying to knock sense into her, they were cheering her on with, "You go, gorl!", "You do you, Boo", and "Diets don't work! Be yourself!". Sad part is that they will continue doing the same. Cheering on Amber's bad choices and making excuses for her. They are the real sick assholes in the equation.

In almost every single ALR video, I have never felt sorry for her, due to her knack for lying and general cowdom, even in her videos where she cries and pleas for symphathy.

Watching this one though...I do feel sorry for her. Lolcow or not, no one deserves to go through cancer. It's fucking hell.

i wonder if she’s gonna stay away from the chemo unsafe foods- mostly cheese
i don’t think she touches vegetables- let alone unwashed ones

I was gonna say, you really have to be careful when you're eating and doing chemo. You're not even supposed to get fillings done.

My curiosity would be how she copes afterwards (assuming that she is definitely getting chemo, which depends on the type of cancer, how severe it is, etc). Chemo can totally fuck with your bones and immune system on a very permanent basis, and with her being as overweight as she is, she'll end up with arthritis in a heartbeat.

She's young enough to have been offered the Gardasil vaccine in her teens at the OB/GYN. It is known to prevent types of HPV including genital warts and strains that are known to cause uterine cancer that you can get later in life while sexually active. 80 percent of all uterine cancers are caused by the types of HPV to which the vaccine would provide immunity. The only issue is it's a bit of a pain in the ass, you have to go back to the doctor one or two times (can't remember exactly) after the initial visit as it's given in separate shots over several months. They're totally painless and go in your arm. I could totally see Amber being too lazy to get the full rounds of this life-saving shot. It would have been covered via her parents' insurance until age 26 or by medicaid if her parents didn't have coverage through work, although the latest they recommend you get it is 22 I think.
So tl;dr there's a significant chance she got uterine cancer from unprotected sex with some dude with HPV/genital warts and refusing to get a slightly inconvenient round of cheap/free vaccinations.
More info on the vaccination and what it prevents here.

Assuming it's cancer and assuming she gets it delt with survives and doesn't die from some sort of post operative infection or other complication. the hospital bills will crush her unless she can discharge medical debt in a Ch 7 if she can't she's fucked most likely for the rest of her life.

The strain of HPV that causes genital warts is not one of the strains that causes various cancers. However having the genital wart strain often means co-infection with the types that DO cause it. Most people in fact get a HPV strain in their life as there are endless carriers, but a healthy immune system is able to throw it off. Constant exposure via an infected partner or having sex at far too young an age when your immune system is not developed properly are risks though.

Uterine is not an HPV caused deal. HPV is responsible for some cases of cervical, vaginal and vulval cancers - it even says so on the front page. I know anal cancer and various throat cancer can be associated by HPV transmission too. Utrine is far less understood as per cause but the NHS page points out risk appears to be associated with elevated oestrogen and obesity (the more body fat a woman has, the more oestrogen she doesn't need will be swimming around her system,. Obesity is strongly associated with higher risk of multiple cancers, including bowel and breast cancer. If there's one obvious risk factor with Amber, it's her weight.

No, she got it because she’s 500+lbs and has been a deathfat literally her whole life. Obesity and uterine cancer are directly linked

In "i went to the hospital...i'm scared" she said a tissue sample was already sent for testing. The doc had already assumed it was cancer then. This was May 29.
They test everything all the time, it's just routine. That's why everyone was eye rolling so hard about her freaking out over him sending it off to be looked at. I doubt he suspected cancer. Fat women's uteruses do all sorts of bizarre things because their hormones are so out of whack.
