The difference between those and this Kirby piece is that All Stars is targeted towards kids, most likely not even out of middle school at most. The Kirby one is targeted towards teens and adults, just making the character and message all the more jarring.

It's not jarring when you consider that these people genuinely think kids should start getting their "political education" (that's their term for "indoctrination") as early in life as possible. So if they can produce a "political" piece a 6-year old who can barely read could be attracted to, they think it's a victory. They created something "worthwhile".
