These are decent traditional designs that will age well, literally and figuratively, but that ship is kinda crap. It looks like he picked it off a flash sheet that was intended to be for a smaller piece, so all the details like the sails are way too simple and they look like a bunch of mini post-it-notes.

Agreed, it's done well enough from what I can see but the placement is just horrible. Could have done it at 1/3rd the size on the thigh and it would fit much better.
