I hate this is a very common reblog phrase on Tumblr. What it really means is "I like this".

"Problematic" now pisses me off every time I see it. SJWs have ruined this word. It sort of means racist, or sexist, or foophobic, or whatever, but for no real reason. It's used for even things the speaker likes, but has found something so staggeringly trivial to whine about that you want to slap them across the face. Any explanation to the question "so why is this problematic" is going to be absolutely moronic.
It used to be a perfectly good word, too.
Why create something new when you can ruin something that's already established?Yeah, tumblr and the SJWs have ruined "problematic" for me as well, plus "shitty" and "gross".
Bad as it is they're making up words, it really sucks they're ruining existing ones or trying to replace them.
Like how you're not allowed to use "sexism" anymore because it's gender-neutral and implies it could affect men.

they love being vague or putting no effort into solving a problemIt also can be used vaguely, with just telling people that someone is problematic for X and Y reason without explaining what they did or completely disregarding context.
I got unfollowed yesterday by somebody who decided to send me an ask that they liked my blog, but couldn't follow me because I was "a tad problematic."
They didn't explain what it was I did and I found it pretty presumptuous that they thought they should announce their unfollowing me when I'd never even talked with them once.
uugh, i hate those posts where someone would just go "ew, gross" like a child or somethingYeah, tumblr and the SJWs have ruined "problematic" for me as well, plus "shitty" and "gross".

is someone being racist? just say they are racist
does that person not understand why they are being racist? ITS NOT MY JOB TO TEACH YOU, YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT I MEAN (tumblrinas think everyone is psychic, which is problematic and they need to check their mind-reading privilege)

posts like that tend to just be "ew, you're gross" and (again) not explain why.
tumblr has a problem with explaining things
Cotton Ceiling- A concept invented by a transgender lesbian activist to describe the phenomenon of straight and gay people having a disinterest or a level of discomfort in dating or having sex with transgender individuals, due largely to preference for a certain set of genitals. What makes the cotton ceiling interesting is that it involves a certain level of guilting gays, lesbians and straight people into having sex with transgender people, even if they might otherwise be uncomfortable with it. It's basically coercion by guilt, which in any other circumstance would be described as rape by many of these same people. It's worth noting that while not all straight and gay people have problems with sleeping with transgender people, a lot do. Basically, it's a bizarre form of entitlement in which a transgender person feels they deserve to have sex with somebody who might not sleep with them. I hate the cotton ceiling so goddamned much.
So I saw that "queerplatonic"/"QPP" got brought up earlier in the thread, but could anyone more versed in Tumblr explain what the heck a queerplatonic relationship is? All I can get out of it is "close friendship, dressed up in I'M TOTES QUEER REALLY garb."
Has anyone else noticed how much people on Tumblr always feel the need to reiterate the fact that they're (supposedly) gay. They always say things like "Look at how gay I am!", or "Look at dis pic of me bein gay!", or "I am sooooooo gay! Straight people suck!" They like to make fun of straight guys who say "no homo" after every other sentence, but this is basically "no hetero".That's pretty much it. BFFs but totally fuckin' gay yall look at how god damn queer we are we're just fucking drowning in all this queerness. Basically a 'my entire life revolves around queer theory probably' red flag.

It is just an Achievement Unlocked for these people; next they'll try to turn themselves trans and schizophrenic.Because if they keep telling themselves they're not hetero, it might become true.
What's the opposite of sailor moon posters?Because if they keep telling themselves they're not hetero, it might become true.
