I just like all the crazy shit the game lets you do with the axe.

It's insanely satisfying to use the finishing move on enemies, it's also so satisfying to throw the axe and call it back.

I also found it cool how the level design was like a throwback to the N64 era, with one central hub area leading to many different levels, with a little Metroidvania style exploration thrown in.

You didn't even get past the tutorial section and get into armor and weapon modification.

The game has more content than the previous games by a large margin. The 3 Dragon Dungeons and a ton of places to explore and find upgrades to.

The combat system has some depth to it and you're not going to get the real hang of it until after you're done killing The Elves. You did the equivalent of starting up Dark Souls 3 and quitting after the tutorial boss got you.

What good would that do when I actively hate what the game is doing to God of War? Whatever depth and complexity the game has isn't worth the aneurysm it gives me.

I mean, how many people in this day and age are completely insulated from the internet, and even if they are insulated, their friends probably aren't.
