He's playing it cool, but nothing really changes for him

-He's still scared of meeting detractors in public
-He will still live like a recluse, only leaving the house to get groceries, even after corona-chan
-He is still overweight, looks like shit
-He is still to lazy to work out
-He will continue to spend his entire day in front of consoles, playing games he hates, for people he hates
-He is still pissing money away on gacha shit
-All the detractor channels and the farms still exist
-Detractor channels and the farms still live in his head, rent free, and will continue to do so
-The streams will never be chill or pahsitive

If anything, having his debt cleared opens him up to increased scrutiny. Fewer excuses to fall back on.

When DSP beats a video game boss after 10+ attempts for example, there's no joy or sense of accomplishment. There's only anger that he was so inconvenienced.

That would explain the reaction I'm reading about. DSP feels like he deserved this outcome all along and trolls made it harder for him so he's pissed off that he had to work so hard. Same thing as when he has to work so hard to beat a video game boss.

Remember, this is the same guy that got mad at dumb fuck EA developers because they included fumbles in their Madden video game and "ruined all his hard work."

Before I read this, I was thinking that maybe Phil has started to recognize that, in trials and tribulations, he pulls a Homer Simpson rather than a MacGuyver, which would also be a blow to his ego.

But him taking no satisfaction because he expects to just win with no trouble makes more sense. Also reminds me that Low Tier God is often called "Black DSP" for damn good reason. lol

Him talking about being a variety streamer is almost adorable. He says that some people show up to see him fail at games like Nioh, while others will prefer Animal Crossing, where there is nothing to fail at, apparently not realizing how much that highlights his incompetence, and how much he depends upon being laughed at for views and troll tips.

Also, doesn't he play at lower difficulties because people want to see him suffer? But yeah, he totally doesn't mind being laughed at.
 
So this amac guy has shown up, dropped 2 large tips, and also has claim in WoR chat to be a big fan of Wings too...although he said he was in CT for Wings (late 2019) and NY for DSP (recent).
 
Phil is still going on about Waifus..... sweaty wrestler men are okay though.

EDIT - Nobody believes you built PCs back in the day Phil. This is coming from the man who tried to run a game once on an expensive PC he bought and then gave up for good (other than indie and old games).
 
This sounds like it was mostly the typical boring as fuck ATK, so this thread will probably be locked later tonight. Dump anything noteworthy here before then.
 
Let me write this before this gets locked, then: I was really surprised how bitter he was during at least half the stream even though arguably the most positive thing in recent memory happened to him. He also spent like an hour talking about how he won't talk about the bankruptcy anymore (even though we all know he totally will anyway). Gotta love how his way with words continues to be bottom-of-the-barrel despite all the experience he's supposed to have at this point.
For someone who constantly accuses people of not having "a shred of positivity in their lives" he sure seems to be the exact same way, wiped debt or not. This might be because he's still angry that he's not a multi-millionaire owning multiple yachts because of those dirty trolls, even though he obviously deserves to be highly successful for working his ass off, day in day out.

And here I think is the crux of the matter: this guy hasn't learned a thing. He got his debt wiped because he did everything correct, clearly. He's going to continue his lifestyle in the exact same way as before, even though the bankruptcy should clearly have been a wake-up call. I would say he has the vest streak to look forward to, except not really apparently. If he's not visibly happy about the bankruptcy results, then why should the vest make any difference?

This is why I'd say it's worth it to stick around and see what's going to happen. This complete inability of a human being to change in any way whatsoever is truly phenomenal. If it's not your thing to see someone running against a wall over and over, then I understand. It's not everyone's cup of tea.
But then again, you probably jumped ship a long time ago if that's the case.
