or a ridiculously obnoxious or pretentious way of saying a word
the pretentiousness of the way he pronounces certain words always stuck out to me, the concept of hypercorrection is important here, the overuse of aspects of language that are associated with prestigious speech, for example using ‘whom’ where ‘who’ is actually correct. Phil, who calls football ‘American football’, clearly adopted the idea that BBC-style Received Pronunciation is somehow more correct than the version of US English he grew up around, and throws in a lot of stuff like intra-word t's that no American would ever use. think of him saying the word ‘exorbitant’ and you'll instantly know what I'm talking about

So basically you're saying that Britishness is next to pigliness? Fitting.

Wow... I think the ultimate Phil goat laugh has been uncovered. You could honestly compare to a real goat and not know which one is which.

I absolutely know what you’re talking about. The funny thing is that in his daily quest to sound as intelligent as possible, he often uses the wrong word, or makes a word up entirely. I’m sure I don’t have to point out to you how often he’s used “penultimate” when he’s describing something that is his favorite, or something he considers the best. He often says “obtusive”, obviously combing “obtuse” and “obtrusive”. I think it was around a month or two ago, he was describing a robot boss, and he said “this boss was some sort of ‘mechanation’. Lately at the end of his streams he keeps saying “Alright everyone, it’s time to adjourn for the day.” There are countless more I can’t think of off the top of my head now, mostly because it’s 4:45 in the morning.

It’s just been really standing out to me lately how he emphasizes words with “ack” in them, and other ‘short a’ words. I was watching an old Tevin stream the other day where he was watching Phil’s old condo tour videos, and Phil was showing off a closet, and was naming the stuff he keeps in it, and he goes “I keep a lot of different things I wear in here... shirts, shoes, socks, uhh... hAAAAts.” And the way he said it was so ridiculously over-the-top. Like, why in fuck’s name does he do that? He’s so fucking odd.

The American Football thing is because Phil caters to his European fans. Remember a year or two ago when whatever laws were being discussed where Europeans couldn't watch his content, and Phil said he couldn't afford to stream or make videos anymore without European views which were his majority.

Phil also hates when people mock him for his obvious New England accent. He eventually put up with it because of the frahg stuff that he profits from.

PWDubs and SnowKarl are both in dark dave's stream chat, chasing that clout and whoring for attention. Pathetic. More whales turned "detractor" for attention and some kind of fake legacy.
Someone claiming to be snowkarl is now in the DSP subreddit. He pops up to defend himself whenever the subreddit laughs at what a loser he is.

I don't think the average reddit user has a leg to stand on in terms of mocking others, but in this case it's actually fucking funny.

So, for the month of May, this pig is not only expecting at least $6,000 for the vest streak, he is also expecting his sub goal to be hit. How can these whalechairs keep track of all these goals?

the greed is massively strong

Just realized Phil is like a real life version of a Freaky Friday. 13 year old girl who overnight turns into a 30 year old manchild, gets into a bunch of wacky situations but somehow everything magically works out. Just trying to figure out which cow switched places with Phil.

These fake detractors that throw money at Phil for attention are just competing against each other to be the funniest loser. This is like some shit my 7 year old nephew thinks is hilarious.
