"Current year" terms that piss you off

I remember this one Current Year article* that claimed that the outlook for "sexualizing women" -- read: natural male sexuality -- was "bleak" because of a bunch of studies supposedly showed men reacted in certain ways under various artificial situations. And given how an unrelated study said biology is "to blame" for "gender differences," they were probably calling harmless stuff "bad," which led to that "bleak" outlook. Soyboys would love it.

*(I read that article before Trump Derangement Syndrome took off and removed any remaining sanity the far left had to me.)

Twitter aka Current Year Central ruined the words "folks" and "y'all" for me.

And there's "LGBTQ" and "People of Color". Way to bitch about diversity and lump all kinds of people into insultingly broad terms. 🚬

I wonder if they’ll start calling white people “people of no color”?

"y'all" for me.
I've transitioned into using Y'all as my term for plural you..because people have become retards and don't understand that You can be singular or plural

Also this isn't a "current year"thing, but the use of the word Hyperbole fucking pisses me off, it is just a smug way of saying exaggerate.

It's annoying when SJW-types use flowerly multi-syllable words to sound all academic and smart when they're talking about pop culture stuff they're "unpacking" or "deconstructing."

I use the word "sex" instead of "gender" because the latter was a prudish alternative, and was then made popular by John Money.

Money was a sick freak who supposedly proposed sex change as a "treatment" for a child with an injured penis, and he made the poor boy -- who later killed himself -- and his brother do some sick stuff. It seems Money was the one who popularized the word "gender" and also launched the Current Year "transgender" craze.

So yeah, I use "sex" instead of "gender."

I wouldnt be surprised if the guy had ties to Nazi Germany or at least had influences from it...seems to be the type of guy that thinks morals are imaginary concepts like "God" and the "tooth fairy".

Hopefully the sick fuck is burning in the pits of hell...fuck him.

I didn't know about the victims until recently, and the media seems very quiet about the shit Money did.

Then again, if I was wrong there, and he is remembered as a sicko and the victims are remembered, then that's good.
Well of course the media is quiet, the fact they are quiet is the confirmation they know that this fucker is a monster and that knowledging it would be a huge blow to the trans movement. But people of common sense know the truth and his victims. The fact we are talking about is confirmation of that fact.

It's not really the term that bothers me, it's the reaction.

"Retard."

For some reason, this word makes culture-policing lefties fly off the handle on a level roughly equivalent to the word "Nigger," and I don't understand why. They claim use of the word is "ableist" somehow, even though the word is both A: a medical term, and B: a colloquial term that's synonymous with "idiot" or "moron." If my saying of the word "retard" makes you think of the mentally handicapped, that's on you, not me.

"Navigate"

Unless you're using an astrolabe and know what time it is at the port from which you launched, you aren't navigating shit.

I'm starting to like Simp less and less because it's falling into the exact same pitfall whiteknight/cuck/soyboy did where it just went from the specific "guy that puts pussy on a pedestal" definition until it turns into the wide net of "person I don't like".
"Simp" always makes me think of a simpleton, or it did until it became used in its current context and became yet another word to describe the so-called person one doesn't like. So, I agree there.

I wonder if they’ll start calling white people “people of no color”?
If science still teaches that the color white encompasses all colors, perhaps white people can identify as "people of all colors."

Any form of pretentious language is equally peeving, especially multiple such words strung together. Bonus points if it's nothing more than SJW buzzword salad (X is a pansexual nonbinary neurodivergent TWOC that identifies as sheepkin and uses Xza/Xze/wtf pronouns).
