Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

The difference is that Chinese projects are also staffed with Chinese labor, unlike European colonial powers that trained the native population. If an African state nationalized a mine they would have nobody to run it.

True, even in their overseas project, one of the reasons they refused to buy PDVSA when Maduro was desperate for cash was that the first condition was to fire all the Venezuelan workforce to put their own, Maduro refused and the Chinese bailed out of the deal

Interesting story my uncle told me about an acquaintance of his, guy that owned a construction company. He'd go round up a bunch of illegals and offer them work. Deal was that they'd stay in a house he owned, eat the food he provided (cans of beans and packages of tortillas basically), and once the job was completed he'd pay them out of the money from that. So these guys would put in weeks of construction work and, when the job was just almost completed, this guy would call immigration on them and get them deported. He'd bring in another crew, pay them for like two days of work max, and then start the whole process over again. Sometimes he'd even pick up the same guys. "Hey, you know what the arrangement was, and you didn't finish the job. Don't worry, you'll get paid this time." Effectively everyone gets shafted... the illegals get shafted out of everything but basic room and board for two months, the professionals only get paid for two days instead of two months.

Now, one person hears that and their thought is "Maybe if we stopped illegal immigration, guys like that would have to give up their shitty schemes and actually pay their legal workers a decent wage."

Another person hears that and thinks "That's terrible! He shouldn't be able to treat his slaves like that! We should get rid of the immigration authorities!"

And I hear that and say: "that guy should be given the Nobel Peace Prize and be put on Mt. Rushmore."

While they complain about Russia. Pootin is just minding his business and buying doctors ice cream after they test him then catch corona virus after.

"Yet again", when was the first time? oh you mean that first time where not even reddit could spin how much of a failure it was? that first time?

Edit: lmao the comments are just people telling them to give up
Look, if a Russian businessman with no connections to Putin spending a couple thousand on poorly made facebook ads that if anything, would make Trump supporters themselves less inclined to vote for him, and likely only reached existing Trump supporters due to the low amount paid and the way targeted ads work ISN'T sovereignty-threatening election interference, I don't know what is.

Liars lying to cover for liars, and still hiding behind classification.

Corporate media immediately touted the Republican-controlled committee’s finding that “the ICA presents a coherent and well-constructed intelligence basis for the case of unprecedented Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election,” including by hacking Democratic National Committee emails, as vindication of the intelligence communities’ handling of all things Russia. But a close reading of the report—or at least those portions of the report that could be read—instead cements the reality that the FBI intentionally snowed the FISA court to spy on Donald Trump.

If I were a rich asshole, instead of just a regular asshole, I would have already funded a movie about the FISA and spying gayops and ask De Niro to play in it. Maybe as Brennan.

He is dumb enough to think he would be playing the hero instead of the villain.

Same thing with Haiti, the revolution caused it to go from being one of the richest colonies at the time to one of the most corrupt and poor nations in the world. Didn't help that they massacred the remaining French population as well.

Haiti is half of the same island as the Dominican Republic. By all accounts, the Haitians have the better half of the island. But the Dominican Repubic didn't become a nigger-run kleptocracy (Only a Spic run one) and scores higher than Haiti on every single metric of quality of life (except raw numbers of dead darkies).

Two terrible things combined. Boomers and song parodies.
This dude has a whole channel of this crazy nonsense. I must explore this cringe!

Nixon Derangement Syndrome mainly survives solely because of Watergate and Nixon's resignation over that scandal being the moment that overshadowed the rest of his presidency.

I think Trump will end up being remembered in a similar regard as Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton are today, seen as a hero figure by his own party and a villain figure by the opposition party, and is seen as the harbinger of a wider political paradigm shift on both sides.
Nobody except ancient ass boomers give a shit about Nixon if TDS survives post Trump it'll only be old ass Milennials that care.

I personally enjoy when people use the language that allows people to jump to the conclusion that Russia interfering in the election automatically means collusion, without ever saying it themselves. The problem is, another government independently assisting the election of an individual is no crime. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a single president in the past many decades who could be considered innocent.

I'm still waiting for someone to point out to me those nefarious Russian ads that completely overshadowed every other legit ad and gaffe that was organically produced on the campaign train in 2016..... the way they phrase it, D-list shitposting nobody noticed got Trump elected, not Hillary being a bitch daily and calling half the country deplorable ....

I'm not saying Russian shenanigans didn't happen, but did it HELP? In a way you'd be able to detect outside a lab?

This "Muh Russia made Trump win" shit is like saying the Titanic sank because there's irrefutable proof that someone left a bathroom tap running.....

Haiti had the better 1/3rd of the island.

The Haitians have managed to botch even that.

Note: I am not blaming this on Haitians being black, I am blaming it on the fact that they felt the need to kill everyone who knew what they were doing (including early Haitian revolutionary leadership who got killed in favor of witch doctors who wanted to be kangz); and have consistently felt the need to routinely purge their country of people who care.

Huh. I guess Maduro did something right. He finally got one!

Trump's grown on me but I'd like it if he talked clearly at his press conferences. Whenever he's asked a question, his response is always a bunch of vague statements.

For example, if a reporter asked him about the progress on the border wall, he'll say: "We're doing a tremendous job. You know, this administration has done more to strengthen the border than any other administration in the history of this country. It's a fantastic, beautiful wall. There's a lot to be done, and we are getting it done."

I get that he has his manner of speaking, but it would be better to respond by saying: "We've reinforced X amount of fencing and add X miles to our big, beautiful wall. We are about halfway to our goal but what we have done so far has made our nation safer than ever before." A lot of the confusion that he generates would be resolved if he provided concrete information in his speech.
That's true, Trump is really inconsistent at public speaking. He tends to send somewhat mixed messages, like when he said he was holding funds for WHO, then when asked in the same press conference said "No, probably we won't freeze funds for them". I mean, it seems that congress will freeze funding for them, but Trump just looked indecisive there and kind of foolish.

I like when he's rough with the press, as long as he knows what he's talking about, which he usually does. But the self aggrandizement can get old, and the repetitive manner of speaking, while effective in a salesman, can be annoying.

TDS has made it difficult to talk about stuff like that but it's a completely legitimate complaint.

Oh it’s definitely to fuck with the press. Giving a straight answer tells people what you are going to do, which would give the press a clear line of attack. Now they spend airtime trying to decipher his speech instead of proposing counter solutions.

I think this is giving him too much credit. The simpler truth is he has a bombastic way of speaking which is meant to convey an emotion. Whatever that emotion may be at the time.

It has some nice side benefits, but its not some four dimensional chest bullshit.

If that's the litmus test ... Then I guess that 50% of my family and 95% of my friends don't read past the headlines ... Yet they're SO vocal about their "takes."

Kill me.

Stuck on a desert island with only parrots to talk to. I hear ya they dont even couch stuff with "but didn't X happen?" they just straight up repeat headlines to your face and sit there with a shit eating grin thinking they just scored some monumental gotcha. Then you pull up the story on your phone and read it out o them word for word and say "shit you obviously didn't read the article smart guy". Then they have the nerve to get pissy when you correct them with their own sources. It's all so tiresome.

I think he does play the press to some degree, but yeah sometimes it's just nonsense and not 4d tiddlywinks.

If anything, TDS has been counterproductive to offer legitimate criticism in Trump's behavior. But they don't care about the centrist or moderate. Hate Trump or bust.
